Well considering AMK doesn't exsist anymore, you're more than correct. This thread should have ended with Tamiya. The Tamiya kit is one of those that renders all other kits if the subject absolutley pointless.

That's looking great. It's so refreshing to see someone get the interior right too. Any time I see one painted entirely baby turd green I lose a year off my life.

Well I dont dip my canopies in floor varnish and I've been using Tamiya Extra Thin on them for a decade and not once damaged one. It won't even fog if you slather it over the part to be left unpainted. It just melts the plastic which obscures it beyond repair usually. But TETs capillary action makes it virtually impossible to screw up if you're just careful where you touch the brush to the parts.

Why is everyone so scared of Plastic cement on clear parts?
