Great, I like it. The eyes are creepily beautiful. ....But I'm afraid of clowns, now I know why.
-
Thank you for the attention and the kind words๐

Your fish man from the depths, an unusual figure, excellently staged. I also like the red crest, which harmonizes wonderfully with the turquoise-blue skin (scales). Everything fits together wonderfully with the base.
-
Now my first filament figure is finished. With misprints, I used about 1 kg of filament. Better results can be achieved with a resin print, but this requires a damn large printing space. And also a lot of UV resin. Only the head is therefore printed with a resin printer.

Most of the parts are glued and painted. It stands really well on the base, which makes me pleased. Now I'll add a few more color details and then the build will be finished for me. The next pictures will be taken during the inspection, then also with the head. Thanks for watching and commenting.

The leather painting is great, and the fact that you left the blades rusty on the sides creates a very harmonious picture in terms of the colors. Wonderful! Another great piece of work from you.

Small update, the head is only attached for testing. I will probably have to do a little more work on the hair.
-
Nice to see you working out the color details, it always looks so easy until you pick up a paintbrush yourself.

Hopsing replied to HoolioPaulio's topic in Figure Work In Progress
You have picked out a beautiful figure . And I think the mishap with the belt is hardly noticeable. -
The head is printed and the skin color is primed. Now I will try to emphasize the skin color even more with paint

I like the determined facial expression of your ice-cold "smurf" Let's see how cold it gets.....

I think your choice of colors is great. It all fits together. And the orange of the bike stands out even more in the pictures. Very well done! -

Very nice, the hair color matches. The dress already has an impressive effect, are you going to apply some glitter to enhance the effect even more? -
Wonderful work from you, I find your choice of colors very successful I think that if the background is more neutral, the OSL effect will stand out even more.

I like it๐ What I'm wondering, can you paint well on Tamiya's Clear colors? -
No matter what color you choose, I think it will be wonderful.

The idea of using transparent blue filament was not a success, so I printed another base and painted it transparent. The figure has now been pre-painted with metal paints I deliberately didn't sand down the lines from the print. Maybe I will illuminate it, but I'm not that good with electrics

Beautiful project! You can't wait to see the glitter dress.๐ -
The base is now painted, the light-colored parts were printed with transparent PLA, I actually wanted to paint the parts with transparent blue, but I don't like it. I will now try it with transparent blue PLA. Let's see if this looks better.
