  1. Wow. I'm glad and surprised there are folks looking for this as well. Is there any update? It seems like the trail went cold. I couldn't figure out anything from the website. I've an interest in Air Branch and the CIA's air operations. Not many kits around the topic. Am working on Roden Pilatus Porter. On the lookout for 1/48 Twin Otter (and 1/48 scale motocross bike) But the coolest of all is the Jawbreaker Mi-8 which inserted the first CIA team into Northern Afganistan and was used through the war in support of CIA operations. It's now on static display at Langley. This is my white whale.

    Rediscovery

I am particularly fond that this forum exists, if for no other reason that I learned to plastic modeling when I was living at RAF Mildenhall when my father was stationed there in the early 1980's. So I've always thought that the Brits did it best. But I really have not done any since I left for college. Obviously I've rediscovered it, hence I'm here. I've always liked working in 1/48th scale, it allows detail I think... My father was a special forces aviator. He flew the MC-130 for his entire 23 year career. He was and is my hero and he's cultivated an interest for unusual aircraft.
