Hi all So I've seen on scalemates that Armory do a 1/48 dragon rapide kit: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/armory-ar48tbd-dh-89a-dragon-rapide--1355204 I have been unsuccessful thus far at finding retailers that actually sell this kit, and the WIP box art makes it seem to me that the kit has yet to be released does anyone know an update on this its whereabouts, and if it will ever make an appearance in any retailers? you've done a good job at filling there. the fit issues you mentioned a few posts ago were almost certainly the kits doing as i had the same issue around the tail and blue steel mount fit. good work

The kit does look lovely. I will certainly be picking one of these up. Cheers for the review Mike. I am however slightly disappointed with the lack of pilot figures/crew. I know that airfix's pilots certainly aren't the best offerings out there, but I do think it would be nice if the kit gave you the option to include them.

Eh whilst its great that a 72 concorde will be available, having build this tooling before, I can tell you it requires *A LOT* of work. Be prepared if you are going to take on this monster!

So after recently obtaining the HK models 1/48 lancaster, I am on the hunt for some decals to create a canadian air force rescue lancaster (see image). I was wondering if anyone knew if/where I am able to get decals for these particular aircraft in 1/48. I don't need to worry about obtaining all the extra ancillary parts such as aeriels, as they can easily be scratch built.

the kit looks lovely. Glad to see airfix decided to do a re-release; i agree the prices were getting a tad ridiculous 2nd hand! nice to see that airfix have included many optioins for the modeller too. May i ask whether the sprues all came in 1 bag or individual bags?

I know that anigrand models do a resin 1/72 vc10, so you could try getting in touch with them to see if you can obtain just the landing gear elements
