  1. Alistair Blooming 'eck (for want of a better phrase) in 1/72nd?? You've got steadier hands than I. Hope you have a good optometrist on standby. Ciao Ish
  2. Nice build! Have a few of 'those' old Hase kits around, some of them are a mix of the best and worst moulding techniques. Your decals turned out well Jon, I'm guessing you won the fight.
  3. Ok, managed to find an old jpg from the trip, the place also had the YF-23 (top pic) and the YF-17 (bottom pick), plus some interesting flying wing style aircraft.
  4. Vince, it goes back earlier to the GD YF-16 / Northrop YF-17 lightweight fighter competition of the early 70's. Darned if I know if anyone put out a YF-17 kit, although I've crawled over the real thing a few years ago (I think it was in Southern California, a small Northrop museum on the south coast, can;t recall the town / city at the moment).
  5. Lovely builds! I did a YF-16 about 30+ years ago, I think it may have been the Tamiya pop, afaik it's still hanging from the ceiling in my grandma's house.
  6. Looks good! Waaaaay better than my second built, that one had fingerprints like craters across it plus I glued the wings on upside-down. Keep it up Henrikkoh, looking forward to seeing the Hornet.
  7. Lovely build, can't recall seeing one done before.
  8. That looks absolutely beautiful Miguel, and you've got great skills with the brush. Was it an enjoyable build? I mean, were thee any pitfalls in the kit I should keep an eye out for?
  9. That's an excellent looking build, congratulations. And there's no need to apologies for your English - it greatly exceeds my Cantonese.
  10. Wouldn't lose sleep over it. There's pictures out there of the invasion striped being applied by bucket and broom, and if the following is any guide to how others did it, yours is pristine!
  11. That turned out great Mark. Glad the move went well, the quarantine accom sounds better than the boxes used up here. Ciao
  12. Good tip for the drop tanks Mark, thanks. Build's looking good. How'd the interstate move go? With all the lockdowns / lockouts I'm flat out going across the city now, never mind cross borders.
  13. I've got one in the stash and I'll be watching this one take shape. Looking good thus far!
  14. Excellent start Craig, I found the most fun in the hobby is making mistakes and working around them; you can do this stuff for 60+ years and still learn / stuff up big time! As Stew Dapple says, it's all about fun. Enjoy, and keep posting.
