  1. I do understand that, I've not taken quite that long on any ship so far, but I've had a few that I've lost the mojo on part way through. Good luck for 2024
  2. These all look great, the trucks and vans all look unbelievable, they are so realistically weathered. I love the dirty beetle with the smiley face on the window, nice touch 😄
  3. Nice work there, very neat finishes on all of them, but then you are a ship builder, so that's not a surprise. Love the spitfire in particular. Very intrigued to see if Iowa gets a bit closer to finished in 2024, it's looking stunning so far, but I know how tough the big ships are to complete.
  4. Some lovely big jets here, you've done well with those older kits.
  5. That is quite the collection. Love the planes, they all look really good.
  6. Superb aircraft here, the Intruder and EE lightning stand out to me, cracking work on those (and all the others). Your weathering is spot on for me, enough to be interesting but not enough to distract from the plane.
  7. These are really stunning, I love your finished, they look really clean and neat, but not in an unrealistic way. The third Sherman stands out, for me the huge amount of stowage looks great.
  8. Thanks Alistair, it's been quite a year, I've advanced my technique about as far as I think I can now. I'm pretty pleased with what I can put out there now. Thanks Bertie, that's high praise indeed, much appreciated. As with a few things, I took a long time to psyche myself up to it, but then wondered why I didn't do it sooner 😉
  9. These are super, I love the scheme on the Macchi that looks really neat and stands out.
  10. Some quality models there, the Gladiator is especially spectacular with the open panels.
  11. Some fabulous builds there, I love the fortress, that looks cracking. Sorry to hear about Richard, he looks quite the character.
  12. Some very impressive work there, a lot of detail in all your dioramas, hard to know where to look first 😄
  13. Some phenomenal builds there, very hard to pick a favourite from here, but I do love the aircraft, the two Tigermeet planes look stunning.
  14. Really good stuff there. The bulldog and Bobs Fett stand out for me

    JBs 2023

Those are really nice builds. I really like the M4 tractor, the finish and base on those look really nice. I remember seeing that one in the GB when you posted it (I posted my galleries after yours). Looking forward to seeing your 2024, how many GBs are you looking at next year?
  16. That's a really smart set of aircraft. I especially love the Corsair II, that's a great finish. Considering these are all in 1/72, they look immaculate.
  17. That's a very interesting collection there. The Spitfire, Great Western and the Gannett stand out for me, but lots of good work to look at all round.
  18. You've done some swift work there 😉 I like the T-4 up first, an interesting looking aircraft and I like the finish on it.
  19. Thanks, and yes, these whoppers never got to engage any US battleships, only light carriers and destroyers. I suspect the American advantage in fire control would have compensated for the heavier guns, but perhaps not able to land a sinking blow (as with the Bismarck against the Royal Navy)
  20. Wow, this looks awesome. I built this kit a few years ago (with only the aircraft that some in the kit mind) - it doesn't look half this good though, your finish is awesome. It's a bit of a pig of a kit, like other early trumpy's, but you've made it not look like that.
  21. Nice, that looks like an interesting project, will be keeping an eye out for this one when you get going.
  22. I didn't find the suspension too laborious for this one and I painted it after I'd put them all together. I should note that I build 1/350 ships with full detail sets, so there's not much on an AFV that I find too taxing.
  23. That's a fantastic collection of aircraft, and a great output with a house move thrown in the mix
  24. Thanks everyone for the kind appreciation so far. I'm agreeing with the models picked out so far, I think they highlight good examples of how far my building has come. The Lancaster isn't just the biggest plane I've built but the one I've been most happy with the outcome. Same goes for the Marder, I've done things on that I've not done before, and I think the extra technique shows.
  25. Holy hand grenades batman, that's an immense amount of work. I knew you were productive but 64😱. I'm normally very happy to get in the 20s. All done to a really high standard as well, I doff my cap to you sir.
