  1. Mutter..mutter...Nimrod...mutter Nice pics Herr General!
  2. I have posted McDD drawings of the intakes in the Rumourmonger thread. Post #101.
  3. I lifted these from ARC, who lifted them from someone else, who plundered McDD archives. The A/C intake drawings!
  4. That's different. What's next, some Gresley teak coaches?
  5. That will be good, keep the camera ready, you might get a fast low pass with the flares popping off.
  6. XM 192 was/is on the gate at Wattisham. Now here. http://www.thunder-and-lightnings.co.uk/lightning/survivor.php?id=34 I've seen this ebayer before. Some curious pricing policy. £60 for a Hawker Hart that fetches £12 on average.
  7. I wouldn't call it subtle, rather like the difference between F-4 intakes with J79s or Speys, Or a canopy on a P-51B or D
  8. http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234939263-kittyhawk-voodoo-148/page-4 See posts #72 and #81
  9. Are you going to leave the horrendous intakes as they are or correct them?
  10. I go for Halfords white primer and Klear, it doesn't look overpowering that way.
  11. Superb job. I have one of these, Good to see how it makes up.
  12. That is exceedingly bad planning on someone's behalf.
  13. My experience of Hasegawa decals is they disintegrate after a time. I have had to resort to aftermarket sheets.
  14. Each to their own. If you want expensive badly fitting kits, try Mach 2. Disappointing as they may be, they are the only game in town. With care, patience and several expletives, a reasonable result can be had. For some peculiar reason, many kits I like are slated for bad fit etc. Having looked at the pictures of the completed Voodoo, aside from the errors I have pointed out elsewhere, it looks like a Voodoo. It obviously can be done, So far I have built 3 Hasegawa kits, and zero Tamiya in 0ver 50 years of modelling. Maybe shake and bake is many peoples style, and I am just used to modelling with what is in front of me. I have ordered 3 of these 'monsters', I'm sure I can make at least one good example out of that lot.
  15. Re released at about £30. That is a nice build David. If I built another, it would be wheels up, the u/c us out of scale.
  16. I'll give you my opinion on the llama after I get my mitts on the kit!
  17. You think that's tricky? Try the C&H conversion. You need the skills of a gynecologist to insert the nose gear bay.
  18. Remember to add lots of weight if you sweep everything. It puts a lot of weight at the back.
  19. The search has been called off after US Coastguard divers reported the liferaft was still securely stowed in the upturned hull of the yacht. R.I.P.
  20. Looks like it's gonna make up into a first rate F8, but too expensive for my tastes.
  21. Disgusting! Shouldn't be allowed! I'm in Holland that weekend!
  22. ^ Yes, a P&W was part of the package, but they have a Centaurus
