Very informative build article Rob. I have had the Testors boxing on my bench for most of the year. I have the Cobra Kit detail set. Not really touched it yet. This is a must. George Stainforth, who took the World Airspeed record in this machine was the late Lady Bentwaters' great uncle. I have built in 1/48, and have a 1/32 in the pile. This might inspire me to move it up a bit.

All spares are kept, munitions, external stores, optional parts, wheels, propellers, canopies. When breaking old kits, everything useable goes into Hangar 18. A veritable gold mine when things go wrong, or bits are missing. Often fellow modellers need spare parts, I have sent out and received much from the stores. Never throw anything away, you will need it next week.
