  1. Oh 😳 that's too bad...so is putting the foam inside the vac a good or bad idea in the end? I think it's a shame they made the towers apart... I guess it wouldn't of fit the box but it would of been more neat if it was fabricated together.
  2. Did you end up putting the plane on the dam base though? 😊 I finished the damn plane. Now going to take a look on how to make the dam...
  3. Ah I just see this topic popping up , I found Pledge Clean it in my shop... And I tried a few shops haha..is it okay or does it need to be Pledge revive it? I live in Belgium.. sorry to steal your post... 😌 I just put it on with a flat brush without thinning it... I had a bottle of something, I think parket plus or something but can't find that either... Lol πŸ˜† and I found a bottle online but it doesn't come cheap πŸ€”
  4. if I want to use pledge, is the pledge clean it okay or it has to be pledge revive it (I live in Belgium)
  5. Hello, My Lancaster project is coming closer to an end which leaves me with the varnish before the decals. I've tried out the AK interactive semi gloss spray can on a model but I find it really glossy and it looks a bit like an orange peel effect to me? https://pin.it/4PqtziS https://pin.it/5G7G8yW Not Sure if the link works to my photos? Am I doing something wrong like spraying too thick or too close or too far away? (Temperature outside is around 25 ⁰C) I don't have the matt varnish spray can yet but would it fix things? Greetings, V.
  6. Hello, I've used AK INTERACTIVE AK8076 ELASTIC MASKING PUTTY On my model, on the brown paint, now the area where it went on is darker than the one masked with masking tape... Any ideas? (Not sure how I can put a photo here) Best regards, Viky

  8. Not sure why the photo doesn't appear.. tried the insert image option but it won't work.. Anyway I used some sort of clay putty to do the edges of the camouflage, and I had the bright idea not to paint it totally brown before the green which now leaves me with white gaps .. πŸ˜” not sure yet how I'll fix it.
  9. Haha thanks for the link ☺️ I found an interesting topic which lead me to a paint chart βœ…
  10. I used Revell 82 for dark earth ☺️ https://www.pinterest.com/pin/106397609937364942/sent/?invite_code=4acccdda1e45488c848cb94b4729929b&sender=106397747355117107&sfo=1
  11. Hello, I'm new here, I found the forum by using Google and looking for "the" paint for the RAF Dark Green in the paint schema. There has been a lot of topics about this I think? I'm building an airfix Avro Lancaster 1/72 which hasn't been the easiest kit I've done so far. After a pause of 5 years (moving to a new place, my son was born,...) I picked this kit back up. I bought Vallejo Model Air 71.324 Model Air BS Dark Green but I got issues using Vallejo model air in my airbrush pistol... so much it's giving me a headache and I am returning to my preferred and easy to use Revell enamels. Which leaves me with the problem... which number Revell do I use? I got the Revell 68 claiming to be RAF Dark green. But I had some other greens in my stock and tested them on some plastic and actually Revell 65 looks exactly like Vallejo 71.324! Isn't there too much olive color in it though? It looks so bright... Revell 68 on the other hand looks so grey... I just want to finish this damn kit πŸ™‚ Greetings, V.
