Just started on the 1/48 scale build, and completed the cockpit area with seats, bulkheads, etc. Does anyone know of any likely problems when assembling the two fuselage halves? With the cockpit already attached to stbd. side I just hope the port side will pick up on the bulkheads and floor locations, plus lower turret and tail-wheel support. Thanks for your comments. Aldi supermarket has boxes of 5 vehicles on sale. They are virtually 1/48th scale. e.g. my P51 pilot figure sits neatly in a Jeep. The range includes Military Police jeep, hummer, van, tank and helicopter, also civilian police cars, and some vans and lorries. One of the lorries would make a good fuel tanker if painted to cover up the hideous green colour. Only £1.99 per set fo 5. Geoff.

Just starting to plan a diorama in 1/48th scale on a 84" x 30" base. The aircraft will be Memphis Belle, Lancaster with Grand Slam bomb, P51 Mustang, Grace Spitfire, and Bader's Hurricane. Any ideas on how to install peri-track lighting using fibre optics? Also intend to put internal lights in a nissen hut, control tower and hangar. All comments welcome. Thanks. Geoff.
