Very good result. I built the model myself some time ago, and know how darn small the thing is. You also did a good job of bracing the wings. The things drove me crazy at the time.

Well, it is not the most stable landing gear. It is somewhat impractical that the nose gear cannot be retrofitted in the landing gear bay, which means that the model must always be jacked up. But it works. Anyway, a nice model.

Congratulations. Very good looking Thud.👌 I recently built the Hobby Boss F-105G in 1/48, and I know about the size of this beast. Towards the end I hardly knew how to move the model on my table. But it is still fun.😉

Your frogfoot is best discribed with "used look deluxe pro". Realy cool.

Very nice result. I could Imagine that the spiral in the spinner ist a little bit tricky. One man, two parts, and an universe full of patience.

Realy nice looking "weduwemaker" (widdowmaker). The diorama looks also quite nice. The comparison with the SR-71 make you aware of the size of the engines of the blackbird. I´m looking forward to the german starfighter.

Hello everybody, as my first post I´m presenting you the F-105G Wild Weasel in 1:48 from Hobby Boss. I´ve started modelling one and a half year ago, after the common break of 25 years. This is my first big one 1:48. When I ordered it on eBay I was a litttle bit lazy and didn´t read the specs. Two days later it arrived, and I became aware that it´s about 45cm long.😲 As a result this project became very dominant on my workbench. The quality is quite good, even if there are no resin or photo etched parts in the kit. The decals are okay, but sometimes a little bit to large, as you can see from the yellow border around the cockpit windows. I build it completely oob. For the colouring I mainly used Tamiya an Mr.Hobby colours. The kit is very detailed. For example, the engine is made of nearly 20 parts. 18 of 20 you will never see in the finished model. All in all, I had quite a lot of fun with the kit, and 90% of the frustrating moments were caused by my impatience.
