  1. Unbelievably good work, top shelf stuff all the way. Your weathering process is some of the finest I have EVER seen. My hat is off to you!
  2. The 2014 Tamiya Fair is this weekend, any word on a Tomcat release?
  3. Bloody hell Darren... You REALLY knocked this one outta the park- seriously the finest work I have ever seen from you. She looks exactly like the real deal in the photos, you nailed it old friend! So happy to be a part of the story, I know how dear this aircraft is to your heart. Now, how are you going to top THIS???
  4. That is an amazing build, always loved the Valkyrie and your build is STUNNING.
  5. Good Gawd that's good, REALLY good! I was hoping to not have to buy this kit, but after this build I think I will have to. Brilliant stuff!
  6. FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC MIKE!!! Now that is how a Corsair SHOULD look, worn but still capable. What a feast for the eyes, she looks a treat.
  7. Hiya Mike! Sorry I missed this one as she progressed, but what a fantastic read! Just read through the entire thread, some fantastic painting and weathering tips here. Can I ask about your spraying of the Citadel paints? Do you use the Tamiya X-20A for this, or another thinner? Brilliant stuff, and just what I needed to get off my bottom and get back to my Corsair.
  8. Now THAT is what a proper Spitfire should look like, you really nailed the look on this one Darren! The PR.XIX is also one of my favorites, and on this one you did her right. Absolutely gorgeous, I am EXTREMELY envious of this one!
  9. I love this one Darren, she looks properly worn as she should! I really enjoyed watching this one come together, thanks for sharing her with us!
  10. Looks like a good kit, and the more I see of it- the more I want one! Thanks for the in-depth comments and photos, I really so appreciate it.
  11. Superb finish on your Viper, love the finish on her! How did you achieve the patchy look of the Have Glass finish? It looks spot on to me. Only thing I can see to sort out is the nose wheel looks like it needs to be pushed further onto the nose strut. Other than that, sublime!
