  1. I used to use the gun mental paint from Tamiya or GSI acrylic/lacquer on the 1/35 machine guns and I found the flakes looks huge like Giorgio N mentioned. And later on I found a graphite color looks more inline for such a small objects. I tried the GSI burn iron paint (H-76) again the day after I asked this question. I applied it on a 144 scale gundam rifle, it is a lot larger then a 1/35 machine gun. The outcome looks really good to me and the flakes doesnt look that big for the scale. Thanks for the hints that other parts are mostly plastic and regular paint. And the paint set Mike posted looks very handy, but I dont see any venders around carries that.
  2. Hi, I have some little armory 1/12 guns, and also some figure with 1/6, 1/7 guns, just wonder what kind of paints will you guys use on these. I found the gunmetal paint from couple brand are quite the same with a dark graphite look doesnt always match the gun pictures I found online. And some of the metallic acrylic paint are with pretty big metal particles that doesnt look well on the small scale firearms.. Do you guys use any metal paint or just gross paint on the guns? Or are there some brand or product line would mostly reassemble such smooth metal look? https://imgur.com/7TAEqHK
  3. Follow Ray's cat link. I found their latest catalogue on their japanes site. They Aqueous in the new PDF should be the new colors. https://www.mr-hobby.com/ja/promos2/0/link/colorchart2021_compressed.pdf In this new PDF, the Mr. Color section has corresponding Aqueous colour noted as well. H58 -> C27 H72 -> C22 H73 -> C23
  4. The one with number on the top is with new formula, which says better performance than the old ones. But the color changing is quite a shock.
