  1. Had a look at Lunch. As Brian mentioned above really. I have one photo of the king without ETPS titles the rest are all with.
  2. I'll have a quick gander at lunch time through my references and get back to you.................
  3. And in the proper colour. What are the 3 colours?, i bought a Hasegawa A10 at the weekend, so a bit of preperation................
  4. Looking at doing my Revell jobbie as one of the early prototypes or development batch.
  5. Thanks for the comments folkes. It was an absolute pleasure to display these kits. And the interest the table generated................................
  6. Have you put the wings on yet?. Fixed mine on last night and their pants. The gap is as bit as condleza Rice's teeth . I've put plastic card in the gaps (as i think it too big for filler) and cut it down - sanding it down tonight. I have'nt put the fin or tail cone on yet but the dry fit looks equally crap!!!. Who needs nose weight with the amount of filler we're pilling on the intakes?
  7. Thanks folkes, spent yesterday at Bruntingthrope taking photos; oh and getting soaked

    Badger 200-3

I broke out the airbrush for the first time last night. I sprayed the hole of the interior of the Vulcan Black. I managed to fathom out the rear controller controlled the paint - but how can i vary a wide spread or fine line? Personnaly i think the instructions are crap hence the post................................
  9. Right folkes. I bought the new style Airfix kit from Chris @ Kits-kits (very nice price), so i am building that for the missus. I'm going to Bruntingthorpe at the weekend so will get photos then, but in the mean time...... 1. Are the intakes white or LAG? 2. What is the snowboard thing under one of the engines 3. Is it worth putting the aircrew in, = will you see them? 4. What is that intake thingy on the rear of the tailcone? 5. Matt/Gloss/or satin finish
  10. Not one to jump on your band wagon, I'm just about to start mine tonight. I bought mine from Chris at Kits-Kits at the Gloucester show. My one is going to be the 558 display model and i've got an idea......................... I'll keep watching mate as your already ahead of me.
  11. I've put my 2p in. I voted for dswoofie's ACT. For me it is the ripple attraction................. but they are all pretty bloody good.
  12. Brilliant mate. all that work paid off and it certainly stands out!!
  13. Hey that's awesome, very nice indeed.
  14. Then let modellers licence prevail....................
  15. The areas in the circles are blue on the BD ones; so i assume(?) it will be the same for the Farnborough jobbie, but hey modellers licence.......... You can buy pre done circles, but you may not use that many as me on a regular basis. Alternative is get the childs compass out and get doin....
  16. Evening folkes. It seems ages since ive been on here, but thats down to work. Anyway i finished the Tonka at the weekend. Its the Hasegawa kit with a modified fin to suite the early pre-production batch. This is XX950 (P08) which was at Boscombe Down and subsequently crashed in 1979 killing both crew. It was nice to paint the undersides LAG as you don't see many of them about. The seats are aftermarket jobbies and a home made Towing arm, made from Plastic tubing and metal rod. I drilled a small hole into the Nose wheel leg where the other end of the arm locates. The wings are the Airwaves with the flaps/slats drooped. As alway comments (good and bad) please................... My thanks to go MODeller and Bex for the wheels and rod. Ripple T7 Hunter next...................
  17. Just a thought mate. When i don't have circled roundels i use a white round disk as background; obviously slight bigger than the roundel thats going to sit on it. Also, just double check that the area/frame behind the airbrakes is primer; on the B-D ones they are blue, except right in the APU part.
  18. Isn't it funny that us modellers are probably renowned for our patience, yet i tried doing a VW Golf GTI Mk2. Seemed simple enough, oh how wrong could you be. It was a test of patience that was beyond me and it so very nearly got launched. I gave it away in the end, so i applaud your persistance and patients.
  19. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the rippleness.
  20. I use those Tamiya shading sets, they are really quite good.
  21. I was at Poole show today and saw for the 1st time the AEW converstion, with a completed model on show. I was very impressed and the trader was most helpful, but at £24.95 for the radomes and fin + tailplane is it too expensive?, or is it just me. With this ontop of the kit at £30+ (although today a trader was selling them at £31)mmmmmmmmmm.......................................
  22. Will come back to you soonest mate. On school hols at the moment, so i dont have any reference to hand. I've got another week off yet. Seems the more you pay for school the more time they have off!!!
  23. Be aware of your PM Sea Fury. My T20 had no white pigment on the roundels, which only shows up when there in the water. Make sure you've got some stand in's just in case!
