  1. Here’s a couple of the pilots seat I found on the net: https://ipmscanberrasig.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=205836761 https://ipmscanberrasig.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=186548522 Harness straps etc are vey similar on both seats. Note the face screen firing handle on the pilots seat has a twin loop, whilst the nav’s is a single loop. Hope this helps.
  2. Thanks Dennis, much appreciated.
  3. New to Britmodeller after deciding to use the lockdown to try my hand after being away from the hobby for about 45 years. Hoping I can go someway to mastering some of the techniques that weren't around when I was a 14 year old. It was all 1/72 when I were a lad, but the wife bought me a 1/48 Canberra PR9 a few years ago and that will be my starting point. Then planning on doing a Jaguar GR1, Tornado GR1 & Chinook as these are the aircraft I worked on in the RAF. Think the Nimrod may be a bit big at this scale though!
  4. following this thread with interest after deciding try my hand with this kit after 45 years away from the hobby, I'm using the aftermarket open nose additions which may be a bit ambitious though! With regard to the query about the ejection seats, PR9's were fitted with the Type 3CS in the pilot's cockpit.
