JGSDF Armored Vehicle - Tamyia 1:35
Trevor L replied to Mikemc's topic in Ready for Inspection - Armour
My thoughts too. It looks very realistic. -
I use Onedrive. If you paste the link directly onto your post it won't work. When typing a post on BM there is a button bottom right saying 'insert image from url'. If you click on that, then copy and paste the link from Onedrive and click on 'insert into post' it should work, providing the link is valid.

A very nice model, and an interesting idea for the background. I think it works well.

Wow. How on earth did they manage to flip a tank!?

Top notch. I love the subtle weathering, and it looks very realistic. -
"The Darling Buds of May" 1/35 GMC cargo truck

Perfick! I've just built the same model in standard olive drab, but this one is much more original. -
A Spitfire and Hurricane just did a figure of eight over Banbury, banking right over my roof. Great sight and sound.

Thanks for the comments. The cargo is loose, not glued in place, so I could repaint it for some colour variety.

Took four attempts to upload the post. Looks like it uploaded twice in error. Please delete.

Hobby Boss 83832 1/35 US GMC CCKW-352 Wood Cargo Truck My latest build is this 2.5 ton 'deuce and a half' truck, which went together quite nicely and was an enjoyable build. The cargo is from a couple of Tamiya accessory sets. I would still class myself as an amateur with lots more to learn, but I think this is my best one yet.

Stunning figures. Full of detail and character. -
A very nice build and finish. I've got this one on my wish list. I used to have an Action Man scorpion, so I've always had a soft spot for them.

Fabulous tank and figures. Should the text be 'through' rather than 'though'? -
Love it. Excellent attention to detail and weathering.

Looking great. As you say, tracks can be quite fiddly but satisfying when you get into a groove with them. -
An excellent build and display, and a very accurate version of the original.

A great finish, and I love the colour. I'm currently building the other Airfix XIV in RAF camo colours, but I prefer the 'un-clipped' wings of G-FIRE.

Hasegawa Hawker Typhoon 1b - 1/48
Trevor L replied to Kitchen Modeller's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
A fabulous finish. I'd like to build a 1/48 Typhoon myself but there don't appear to be any available in the UK. It's looking like I'll have to chance a post-brexit import. -
Amfibiebil 101 / Alvis Stalwart in swedish service

A great model and diorama. I love the water and splattered mud - both very realistic. -
Some kits seem to include some just because it's the 'on trend' thing to do. I'm not a fan myself, although it probably doesn't help that I use my standard tools for cutting, trimming and shaping it. Tools which are meant for plastic, not metal.
