  1. I fully expect the modern british army range in 1/48th to be expanded as its causing quite a stir in wargaming circles as well which is good for bean counting as they are quite unique.
  2. From the ones ive built I'd go: 1. Spitfire Vb the mould is tired but it was fun. 2. Stuka - a big old beast! 3. Hurricane- beautiful kit and again fun to build. To add a suggestion for a new 1/24th i think an Me 110 i would agree with the 'its too big' arguments but i would love to do it all the same.
  3. A 1/48th Dornier 17Z would be a nice to own and not as daunting in size as Revells 1/32nd German Bombers apart from that i would love a 1/48th Blenheim as others have mentioned ive always fancied a decent kit of that aircraft since i read 'Dawn Attack' by Brian Callison as a kid.
  4. Been to Parabellum this afternoon and Nigel reckons he will have them in by July.
  5. just dont start a thread about colours for the Aircraft!
  6. Nigel at Parabellum has come into a selection of 'Flying review' magazines dating from the late 50's through to early sixties., these are free to a good home. Although not the best picture quality some of the articles are interesting e.g 'new at farnborough English Electrics new aircraft-the lightning'. Note!!!! collection only so if you are passing pop in and grab a few, please note the opening hours do not venture out till you know hes open as he has a full time job as well. http://www.parabellum.co.uk/
  7. Got mine from parabellum he has a few left as well! Got to say its a beaut panel lines are quite fine as well.
  8. And do not forget when you find the perfect colour stick a black wash over it to bring out the detailed mouldings it makes all the research worth it
  9. You could phone Parabellum on 0121 551 8878 Nige does mail order.
  10. There is a canopy available from Hannants but it only the main canopy not the glazing behind the cockpit which is a bugger because i need that for mine.
  11. I have the Airfix 1/72nd Super Constellation and i would like to build a TWA version, is there an aftermarket alternative? i have the Qantas decal in the kit but i really want the TWA markings can anyone help please?
  12. I open it up in the shop if its a new kit i know nothing of, if its a known kit its usually opened in the car and then hidden in the boot to sneak in later!
