I have an unbuilt second hand Airfix model of the Gloster Meteor III and V1 Bomb. In the instructions it tells you to paint the V1 Bomb black (33). Is this right? The images I have seen online show it to be in two-tone green and grey. Does anyone know the correct humbrol paint colour numbers for the V1?

Hi. Does anyone have any recommendations for a magnifier with LED light please!? I'm looking for one that clamps to the edge of the desk. I am currently working on 1/72 scale models, and am based in the UK.

Thanks for the information. Sounds like a good quality and rare kit. I will construct the kit, but maybe after a couple more Airfix kits to gain a bit more modelling experience.

During a clear out of one of my late father's cupboards, I found a Skybirds 86 Martin Baker MB5 1/72. I have never seen or heard of Skybirds 86 before. The kit has both plastic and metal parts. I only recently started modelling and have only worked on three Airfix model planes. Does anyone have any advice/tips on constructing this type of model?

Hi all. Only started modelling last year. My last and only model was in the 1970's! Completed three 1/72 aircraft so far (Spitfire, Hurricane and Gladiator). I will be continuing with WW2 aircraft in the same scale. Looking forward to finding helpful advice and information.
