  1. Hi Everyone My first completion of the year, this is the 1/48 Eduard Tempest Mk V and it’s built out of the box. The rivets on the fuselage looked way too big to my eyes so I sanded them down and I think the result looks more in-scale now. This is my first Eduard kit and it won’t be my last, the detail is very good for the scale not to mention the price. I think the surface detail is perhaps a little over emphasised, but I can’t argue with the results when weathered. I would say don’t spent too much time in the cockpit area on Hawker aircraft like this because you can’t see much when the office is fully installed. I was impressed with the new decals as they lay down very well which can be seen in the pictures. I did try and peel off the carrier-film on a few test samples but I could not get a consistent result so binned that idea. Anyway, on to the pictures and thanks for looking. The Carrier-film is hardly visible in the picture below. Unlike my dreadful orange-peel spray painting. Regards Trace
  2. Excellent work as usual Fuad, faultless in all respects. I think I need to get a Wingsy 109 based on this.
  3. Fantastic work especially the mottled camo at 1/72 scale, well done.
  4. That's a masterclass in modelling and weathering, really interesting subject as well
  5. Ridiculously good, the level of detail is astonishing. I really like the colour palette and weathering not to mention the rigging which looks spot on. Just brilliant.
  6. Lovely job on the modelling and photography.
  7. Utterly brilliant, this is museum standard. A feast for the eyes.
  8. Brilliantly executed model with very restrained weathering.
  9. Amazing piece of work in every respect, It's like the original photo has come alive
  10. Spot on it looks superb, the weathering on the top of the wings is very clever
  11. Stunning looking model especially the paintwork, well done.
  12. That's a belter, I think it's spot on for colours and weathering. Well done.
  13. Cracking model, excellent paint and weathering as well. Looks superb.
  14. Super interesting collection. I thought control grips in that period would have been much simpler but I can see the design methodology and evolution leading to later grips. It's good that you're keeping history alive, brilliant work.
  15. Seriously good modelling you've really captured the stance, essence and dirt these aircraft exhibit. The cockpit is a masterclass though, spot on in every respect.
  16. Stunning work there Nanond, I can't fault it in any way. Well done.
  17. I think the water looks just fine, but the model is simply wonderful. Weathering is spot on and the deck is really well integrated into the overall colour scheme. Love the little details like the shackles hanging of the masts and the random crew figures.
  18. Brilliantly executed model of KG V and a fitting tribute to your grandad, well done.
