  1. I would like to see a few kits in 1/350: Anything in the Forrestal class ships, as first introduced, in the 50s. Ocean liners: SS United States; RMS Mauritania; RMS Queen Elizabeth; RMS Queen Mary.
  2. Thanks, Model-Brothers. This is very much appreciated. Randy
  3. Is this legitimate? I got this very strange request in my email: OUTLOOK account details 2022 Dear OUTLOOK User: Your Email account is outdated as of July 9th. To Re-Update follow the link below Click here Thank you for doing your part to defend our service
  4. You know, I have to tell you kind folks seriously, I am so concerned about inflation, that I am seriously expecting my money to reach the point of needing a wheelbarrow to wallet it around, so I am not so dis-inclined to buy some of those delicious items I have wanted for a long time while I have the chance. Hope the moderators don't mind me mentioning that kind of thing... promise I won't do it again. So in that spirit I pre-ordered the 1/72 Pan Am shuttle... if it is ever released. I would love to get the Revell TOS Enterprise from Europe soon X two. Other than that, I have been planting potatoes and carrots, and watching them grow... just want enough to get through until next year... remember to plant enough potatoes so you also grow enough to use as seed potatoes next year..... Am I nutty, crazy..... like a loon even? It's ok, you won't offend me.....
  5. What about the exhaust/engine sets for this kit? I know Reskit makes engines for the Tornado. Would any of those or something from another source be suitable to this kit.... what I mean is, would engines not designed to fit this kit work without much or any fiddling? Thanks again.
  6. Your work is stunning, inspiring. Thank you for sharing with us here. Randy
  7. Thanks for the note. Very glad you are safe and well. R
  8. Beefy, I hope you are well and safe. Are you getting back to this build?
  9. Hi Folks. I am looking at this old Italeri kit and wondering what could be added to it. Nice panel lines anyway. Any engine/exhaust set for it? Cockpit set? Wheel wells? I know this is an old kit, perhaps ignored now in the market with so many newer, detailed kits. Any thoughts on this are welcome. Happy days to you. Thanks.
  10. I have been looking at these kits for some subjects, such as the F-18 in 1/48, and I wonder if people who have built any of the Kinetic kits could talk about fit quality and detail quality. Thanks. R
  11. Again, my apologies.... I thought I was actually writing to you in my last post.... Thanks for telling us here how things are for Mike and his wife. Randolph
  12. Corsairfoxfouruncle, thank you so much. That is very sad for Mike and his family and his dear wife. If at all possible, please let him know of my continuing prayers for him and his wife. It must be a very difficult time for them. About 30 years ago I took care of my Dad as he became more ill, and died from cancer here in his own home and bed. Now, Mom is 94, and I care for her as she becomes more frail and weak. I don't use Facebook. Sincere thanks for your kind help in understanding. Randolph
  13. Apologies if I have posted in the wrong place. I have been trying to find a working website for them with no success. Are they still in business? They had great resin stuff. Thanks.
  14. Just noticed this on sale at SpruBrothers. Is this kit an original HAS kit or does it come from another company? Thanks.
  15. Have a look at those old railroad ties (what we call them here in Newfoundland) as they are often soaked in a chemical to prevent or slow rot. This chemical is poisonous to people, and animals, and if it gets into your edible plants, and then into your family it can be very harmful. Just a heads up, in case you were not aware of that. And happy planting for you and your family.
  16. Hello. This build looks really good, meticulous. I have a question about the portholes.... were the bottom line of portholes covered on the ship at this time in its life? Thanks. R
  17. This is a great build. You are meticulous, and I admire your focus on details. Both ships are interesting. The Japanese ship has a "modern" beauty to it. I am looking forward to seeing more. Bravo!
  18. Nothing arrived yet..... But I am waiting on the 1/72 kit of the PanAm Space Clipper..... that will be nice.
