  1. It is Norm 83 (green/green/black) or Norm 95 (2-tone grey), Norm 93 is unknown to me. Try HaHen: https://www.hahen.com/epages/64625185.sf/en_GB/?ObjectID=35517183&ViewAction=FacetedSearchProducts&SearchString=tornado
  2. The guy at the paint shop must have had an off-day then
  3. Now this is a very interesting serial since it doesn't seem to exist! Anyone can shed more light on this?
  4. MRP-295: https://mrpaint.sk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=390&search=mrp-295
  5. FYI, a F3 conversion set is available: https://the48ers.com/rafale-b-c-m-upgrade-set-with-f3-f3r-update-20042.html When you scroll through the pictures it highligths the differences, maybe usefull to you.
  6. Yes it helps. It looks better than my scratch build attempt. I have sent them a message. Thanks again for the tip!
  7. Yes, exactly what I was looking for! Thanks! Any extra details on the rear except the tubes? Now it just leave the question of markings...
  8. Thanks Hook. I tried searching but I don't know if it is me but the search function seems to be very temperamental and more often than not isn't working. Thanks for the link but that is the publication where I found the crude drawing with the basic dimensions. Looking for photo's that show colour(s) and markings or more detail in general. Surely there must be more out there than 2 pictures that I found of this pod?!
  9. For a project of the 497thTFS Nite Owls (specifically Owl08) I am looking for any info about the SUU-42 pods it carried. So far I have only found 1 crude drawing with some basic dimensions, an artist impression and 2 photographs of this rare piece of ordnance. That's it! Anyone has some more info about the SUU-42?
  10. Seconded, when the link works again that is. Good cross-reference between various brands for the russian colours.
  11. You are mixing two brands: Hataka has the blue, orange and red lines, not AKAN.
  12. Matching colours is a nightmare, even for paint manufacturers. Just try 5 different brands for e.g. FS34079 and you get 5 different colours. Or even 1 colour from 1 manufacturer: I have 3 tins of Xtracolor X123 that all show a different result when sprayed. Go figure...
  13. So why do you need the paint equivalents if they are shown in the Model Alliance instructions?
  14. Using Model Alliance decals? Can't quite decode the online picture that states the colours but it looks like Hu149 and Hu186 are close to the stated colours.
  15. Finally found the website, I will drop them a line: http://shop.akan.ru/
  16. A nice summary of the colors used: http://cs.finescale.com/fsm/tools_techniques_and_reference_materials/f/28/t/157508.aspx
  17. AFAIK all the kits (including the older ones) have it. Even the 105mm gun is still there, many moons later...
  18. FYI the Revell 1/48 CH53 kits all have a Jeep(ish) kit inside, even the the latest release.
  19. This site has some great info: https://www.alternatewars.com/BBOW/Colors/USAF_Support_Colors.htm The blue is called Strata Blue, FS15045.
  20. Thanks for the replies all! I've got several su27/34/35 colors from the MRP range but none match let alone be close enough. Good find for the Russian Knight blue but it only comes close to the (IMHO) over-saturated photo's found on the internet. Just compare the first and last links provided by exdraken to see the difference. And that shows how difficult it is to color match from photo's. There is no website I can find for AKAN. If some could provide me a way to directly contact AKAN it would be greatly appreciated.
  21. When the HobbyEasy price is true that would be MUCH more inline with what I would willing to pay. The truth will be revealed when the kits actually will become available. Fingers crossed.
  22. Surely this will be a nice kit and will build into a great representation but it comes with a hefty price tag indeed.
  23. Does anyone know what colors are used on the Belarus AF Su-30SM? Can't seem to find any decent matches. Any pointers appreciated.
