  1. I tried to print it in 1/72 and it´s quite large. I´d say twentysome cm long. In any case, the file I´m printing, or tried to print, is a comercial one and quite detailed, inside and outside. Anyway, Revell has announced an 1/72 kit for 2021.
  2. bonjour, Iceman. I´m fairly new in britmodeller, so I´ve read your thread in one go. Amazing! I was rummaging to do some ship in 3D, most likely a spanish warship from the end of XIX century or beginnign of the XX and I´m also a fusion 360 user, so you can imagine the joy when I saw your work. What tool did you use to fill between profiles in the hull? do you know a tutorial or book covering specifically model building from plans? I´ve seen plenty, but normally they invent the car/airplane or just eyeball the measures.
  3. well, this is going to be my first comment to a WiP in the forum, but I´m truly impressed with the kit and your work. I´ll follow your thead in closed formation, for now on!
  4. Graccie mille, @Giorgio N Those fujimi boxes look perfect for my plan, but sadly it appears they are difficult to find. They even have walking pilots, that could be useful for another project because, as you have guessed, my intention is to show the turkey with all it´s featers deployed. the pilots are kinda difficult, searching in scalemates, pj does not have them in 1/72 and Aerobonus may be the only option. the problem with aerobonus is that they are expensive and, most importantly, they include the seats that I already have in the aires cockpit. Well....
  5. Hi everybody, my first post and, as usual in the forums, is a question. I have a tomcat A in 1/72 in my stash that I intend to tackle sooner than later. It´s a hasegawa kit with some goodies and I´d love to do it in a scene, on a verge to be launched. For that I need, minimum, a crew and, ideally the catapult personnel. I´ve done some research and there is not much in 1/72 and I´m not sure if the ones that I found depict the uniform and helmet of navy pilots of the eighties or early nineties, as I´m planning to have a traditional hiviz tomcat. Any suggestions?
  6. ohhh, let´s not start with the famous defeats, because Spain, France and UK has lot´s of examples, some famous, some not so famous and many clearly buried. 🤣 thank you both for the welcome!
  7. I just joined britmodeller because I love the incredible level of the modellers that post here. Although nowadays forums are decaying and modern modellers prefer to just post pictures in social media seeking likes, here it looks like there are still people willing to share not only photos but to explain how are they doing things, so others can learn how to do or how not to do our kits. Initially my intention is just watching and reading, because english is clearly not my native language and it´s difficult for me to post. Furthermore, I´m not the most prollific modeller of the western civilization, but anyway, I don´t dicard to post some in progress work eventually. I love all kind of military modelling (air, naval and land) and science fiction. What is this that the North Americans say? Jack of all trades.....
