Probably not of much help as it’s not a SAR bird ..but may help

After the Jackal build I was wondering what to do next ..The meng Husky TSV has been sat idling in the box for a while ..I wanted to build something a little different as you do ..back in 2020 I got in touch with Pearson engineering..after a lot of backwards and forwards about if I needed the information they well ..sent me some pictures most of which were are Available on the web so it wasn’t much use ..so I tried another approach and well it worked..a little while ago some three years on they got in touch. And well have been most helpful..so off I went . bit of detail going into each side of the engine bay ..nuts bolts and various pipes added ..as you can see the first part was the mounting plate for the roller these are vehicle specific and can be swapped out easily. it’s not twisted the main bumper is just loosely in place . The main structure of the control unit mocked up . that’s all for now thanks for taking the time to look .

The ramp folds out to make a longer section and as already mentioned they are carried by several vehicles in the group so essentially each section will have two ramps it is due to the weight constraints on the vehicle..

Most kind sir …not quite sure what you mean by what’s happening at the back …missing etc . the model is shown with the tailgate down ..and thus the carry rack lowered as it’s part of it .. Deployed and stowed ..

That’s not strictly true……

The side has cargo nets ..the majority of aftermarket sets provide these….However…you can’t put anything in them..all are designed to sit unstowed. so out with the lead foil and modified Bergan with the satellite coms system..

Much appreciated..the kit does come with a fair amount of photo etch .I also purchased the Eduard set and the scorpion miniatures set . however the Eduard set has some issues..the ammo straps are way to thin [in my opinion]..and the sets that cover the side cargo nets are only really suitable for non stowed nets ….I’ve been making my own bits from lead and scrap etch ..

On we progress ..this is a tricky model to work on as I get further in the more fragile it becomes.anyway side shot of the open compartment and crew area coming together.also the rear bridge section scratch built . Carried by one in three it provides obstacle crossing capability when required.

No indeed not but the vehicle will be a UN based vehicle in Mali Spot on sir.

The interior bulk head behind the seats ..somehow they have got the representation of it wrong it lacks detail and the angle isn’t right..have a look at the revell italieri 109 bulk head whic is probably why I’ll use or maybe plastic card which would be easy enough.

I needed a couple of crew helmets and I wanted one upside down which inevitably means I needed an interior. The crew are using the current Virtus helmet which differs from the mk 7 with various bits ..si I stated with a gecko helmet and a dremel and various bits of plastic card filler lead foil and some mesh from a posh tea bag .. in case your wondering the detailing comprises of 18 different parts ..straps card etc.

No mate just cracking on with bits and uploading photos on here is a real ball ache…

The internal bulkhead needs sorting out ..
