  1. Well... Maybe not beautiful, but not that bad, considering it was built under very basic conditions. Good work!
  2. . I did some research on this particular aircraft and found out that it was indeed based at the F4 wing at Frösön, before it (the aircraft) was relocated to F3 and turned into a target tug. The F4 wing at Frösö, outside the city of Östersund is indeed in Jämtland, hence the shield.
  3. Hi! Very nice build of a lovely little plane! ...but as a swedish aircraft enthusiast I couldn't help to notice a thing or two... (well, just one) I'm not sure what your references says, but my guess is that the heraldic shield on the front is out of place. The heraldry is that of the region of Jämtland, where as the "flottiljsiffra" (wing nunber), is 3, telling us that the machine belongs at Linköping airbase in Östergötland. Looking forward to see your next J29!
  4. Is the engine nozzle painted? Looks like unpainted resin to me, witch brings up another question: Is the exhaust a resin replacement?
  5. Nice build so far! Just one question: How the h*** do they reach the buttons behind the seats armour plates?
  6. Doesn't look too bad (in swedish colours) actually. But I still prefer those Volvo powered SAAB's... (A joke in Sweden, when a SAAB owner claims he's got a better car than the Volvo owner, the Volvo owner can always reply - The worlds fastest SAAB is powered by a Volvo engine.)
  7. Oh! How nice to see a J-10 (RSwAF name for the Vanguard), aircrafts ordered and built but never delivered to the "Flygvapnet". IIRC there's even pictures of P-66/J-10 flying with both swedish crown marks and american stars (on the same aircraft!) somewhere in the southeast asia region (Philippines?) Edit: Did some research and found that it was not the P-66/J-10 that had the mixed markings, but some Republic P-35A (J-9 in Sweden), in the Philippines 1941. These aircrafts had the swedish crowns on wings and fuselage but the rudder painted red, white and blue.
  8. The Swedish Air Force operated one Lancaster for a short period after the war, modified to serve as a flying testbed for jet engines. Sadly the Lanc crasched, killing the crew.
  9. Thanks for this information! (I also found another solution, just build one of the ex swiss Hunters that fly in Sweden as veterans today...)
  10. Nice build! And it makes me wonder, can those wings be used to make a swedish Hunter..? Can't remember what Mk the swedish Hunters were, but they were quite early and had the unbroken leading edge... Edit: Forgot to ask what scale?
  11. A different and really interesting approach! (I also liked the F-104, built as a weathered museum exhibit, whoever built it) I am impressed with all the well built models shown on this web site, but after 52 Lightnings and 36 Tornados in mint condition, it's nice to see something that stands out from the rest... Very well done!
  12. Nice! My favorite Mustang by far... The real deal was sold to Sweden after the war and served as J-26 Yellow K of the F16 wing. Then sold to Israel, then sold (?) to the UK, then sold back to Sweden where it lived for many years as a warbird and the only flying Mustang in swedish colours, before being sold back to the UK and repainted as Twilight Tear. When in Sweden as a warbird it was located at the airfield in Västerås, where i attended college. Fondly remember those rare occasions when we heard the sound of the Merlin and the whole class (and teacher aswell) ran outside to see the P-51 take to the skies...

    Hawk Mk54

A lovely whif! I am impressed of your stunning work with the splinter camo. May I suggest the Hawk Mk.54 to be called Sk62 i swedish service? (Saab 105 - Sk60 and S.A Bulldog - Sk61)
  14. Nice to see a RSAF shelf! (The very first thing that I saw was the fin of a JA-37 Viggen)
