  1. Hi RobL, I've been following this from the beginning as I used to buy White Dwarf magazine years ago. I had to go back to the beginning of this thread before commenting - and your version I feel is better than I remember the original. Roof looks the business and paintwork is looking good. Maybe to counter the orange effect, a very thin wash or two of the dark brown colour you've used for the woodwork. I did think aswell, if you were still looking at expanding your woodpile - do you have any left over off-cuts of Balsa, your outhouse wood work looks convincing.
  2. Thanks Mick - Imgur shows as 6 views even though I set as hidden. I'll have a look at doing it properly and report back! q
  3. Just having a look around Imgur for posting. I know this is not a proper go, just wanted to know if anyone is able to see this pic? http://imgur.com/a/mJZ6UbN q
  4. Looking forward to see what you come up with. I always have to include at least 1 warhammer model just to add a sense of scale and interest. I'm not overly keen on all of the ornamental icons etc but they're some nice lines and you can create an almost alternate universe ignoring the lore/fluff!
  5. I see a lot of potential in what you can do with these guys. I think my favourite of yours were the Ma.K walkers but also enjoy your Gunpla posts too RPC. At least one of the larger units here looks directly inspired by a Warhammer space marine Dreadnought - a lot of other shapes in there look derivative of their Tau race stylings/devices too. I like the inclusion of the Space Marine components in your last post, but can't tell if parts are from Reavers, Intercessors or regular Primaris. There's so many more interesting models than when I first started collecting them in lead, covered in flash and prone to bending, resistant to most glues! q
  6. Brilliant. I can see it being a large one! What kind of scenes/themes would you choose? Maintenance - repair - construction - damaged - future war - mid-race, or something completely different? You're composition and detail really do add realism to a lot of unique and well made models q

Thanks for the warm welcome Pete. Another BM'er who's builds and ideas I admire. I'm ashamed to say I did have to do a quick search before I could answer the security question, not being an aircraft modeller! Appreciate the imgur info too, I've always accessed this site by mobile but do have a good tablet that would probably serve better for uploading. The camera is just better on my phone and it's easier to crop pics and adjust the values. On the bench (two large desks, indoors) I do have an idea inspired by your use of car body shells in your always impressive Ma.K builds. q
  8. Your builds and paints are always are perfect balance. I'd love to see you do a scratch build/kitbash dio in the same world as your antigrav vehicles! q
  9. Great to see more on this. May I ask what you used to bulk out the base, looks nice and solid, I especially like the flat side for a poured concrete effect. The vac formed panels are a nice addition. The thinness lends itself to maybe showing damage from the crash, torn up outer skin revealing damaged internal details. q
  10. Awesome build and paint - I love the pictures of the maintenance bay mock up. That would look brilliant taken to completion with a hangar backdrop, similar to the Gundam hangars out there. I've seen the best Starwars paint jobs and dio's on here.
  11. This is one of my favourite recent builds Photon - amazing! I'd love to see it in an urban/ future Tokyo type dio. I can see this mining an orbiting asteroid or maintaining a larger craft even. Cab would need to be airtight though probably. Will's Drone Sniper is the best I've seen that model done and another favourite of mine on BM q

I return your welcome.in thanks Pete F. I agree, a place of inspiration and generation of ideas for next builds. I used to enjoy fichtenfoo's forums and followed a few currently active BM'ers over to here when that site got deluged with Spam and became unusable. I believe it's been rebooted and new threads have been activated. q

Thanks for the welcome Dennis. I think I will follow your recommendation - I'm hoping there should be a way to hide my images to public view but still be able to share to here. q
