  1. Very nice indeed. Would you recommend the kit? I fell in love with a PR Spitfire at an Old Warden airshow a few years ago, and would like to build one.
  2. There's nothing wrong with a bit of artistic licence. A very nice piece of work.
  3. I remember seeing Hunters flying over our village in Leics. They always appeared to be painted in a dark livery.
  4. Some very useful feedback. Thanks
  5. Hi Everyone I recently bought a charming figure by The Bodi Miniatures https://thebodi.eu/model/TB-35163/lrdg-trooper--ww-ii- And am toying with the idea of making a vehicle to go with it. It's been a long time since I modelled any military vehicles, and I'm out of touch with the market. So, if people here can recommend any kits that are decent, I'd appreciate it. Thank you!
  6. A very nice, tidy job. Especially considering the challenges you described. It's one of a very few AFVs I would like to make. But your warnings about construction are noted.
  7. A very nice piece of work. Well presented and an original setting. Am genuinely impressed.
  8. Superb work. And including your daughter's model was a lovely idea. You have put me off trying one, though. Since it was the agony of wheels and tracks that caused the AFV modelling divorce to start with.
  9. In case these haven't been mentioned already: "Open Cockpit" & "No Parachute" by Arthur Gould Lee are both interesting, but only cover the western front. "The French Air Force in the First World War" by Ian Sumner is also good.
