  1. I'll be watching ready to order their kit.
  2. I was fortunate enough to buy up some of the WnW WW1 kits well before their demise, to put things into context I do believe that WnW gave us all a lesson in the appreciation of quality detailed model kits, rather than amassing the "also rans" in quantity as a poor compromise. I for one will always prefer to buy the quality, detailed correct to scale kits before a quantity collection mindset. My fervent hope is that somewhere, at some time the WnW moulds and whatever, will be bought up by a company with the foresight and acumen to produce quality kits.
  3. Wow ! I've taken notes, reads like a kit I should hunt up, love the Hawker Hurricane aircraft.
  4. Good afternoon from Australia, and thank you for accepting my request to join this great modelling site. Like many of you I started plastic kit modellng as a boy with Airfix and Revell being about it in those days. After I retired from the Army in 2007 I began collecting WW2 theme Model kits again and was delighted to see how much the hobby has grown; both in range variation and scales. I was fortunate enough to purchase some Wingnut Wings WW1 Aircraft kits before they turned off, IMHO it was a quiet tragedy for the hobby. Additionally I think I've built quite a collection of books and magazines on Kit builds, weathering and Dioramas, but have yet to start work in earnest; only partway through a Roden Rolls Royce Armoured Car circa 1914......divorce and settlement does that sort of thing to us all. Thank you for all of your contributions here, I look forward to learning a great deal from the collective and when I'm able contributing what I can for your enjoyment. Chauncey
