  1. Wow, thanks for all the quick and useful responses! It looks like the consensus is the curved blade route along with sanding (and to take it slow, something I'm good at 😊), but I'll look into some sculpting chisels, definitely if I find myself doing this kind of thing a lot. The big fear is obviously going too far and punching a hole in the side so fingers crossed. I'll keep checking in and let you know how I get on.
  2. Hi, first time poster here. I'm building a tamiya bf109 e4 (1/48) and using 3rd party accessories for the first time, in this case a resin/pe cockpit from sbs. To install this it says I need to thin down the existing fuselage walls to 0.5mm. I've searched on here but kind find any tips on how to do it, so I'm hoping someone has some experience in this sort of thing! I've probably bitten off more than I can chew but gotta learn somehow, I guess. Thanks, Rich
