  1. I've got a little bit more done, finished the engines, and wheelbays mounted into the booms next up the cockpit

  3. Just finished this last night, The kit is the 1/32 Hasegawa P-47D, decals are Lifelike, paints used were Alclads, Lifecolor, Tamiya, and MM. I also used the Eduard PE set and SAC landing gear.

  5. Ok Mike and Mish have had enough of a head start, so here is my entry into the GB, P-38J flown by Lt. Allen Hill, 80th FS, 8th FG, Mindoro, Phillippines 1944
  6. got it painted up last night, I used alclads on the fuselage with a basecoat of airframe aluminum and post shaded with polished aluminum and painted several panels with duraluminum. I have a few decals applied
  7. got a lot done yesterday fuselage together and seams checked wings and stablizers with a little lead wire added to the wheel wells and finally the engine
  8. I'll be doing this one here this is what I have done on the cockpit
  9. I'm fixing to start on this build and thought that I would do a build thread on it. I wont be using the kit decals though.
  10. finally got to do some work on the phantom the true details cockpit added the Rhino Modelworks seamless intake and got the fuselage together
  11. I'll be building the Hasegawa 1/48 F4-E converting it to an F model with Lufwaffe markings, I'll be using a True Details cockpit.
