Britmodellers are brillmodellers! In an act of great generosity, Lloyd has just made me a gift
of the necessary kit. It's things like this that restore my faith in people's inherent OK-ness.
Thank you Lloyd!
Your welcome

I have the cockpit finished

and I have filled in the hole in the rear fuselage where I had removed the fillet, still need to do a little bit of rescribing

-
About time to, was thinking Mish needs to
to get you started#%^# You

-
OK I have decided which markings I want to use, so the first thing I needed to do was remove the fillet off of the tail since the B variants didnt have this until after August 14, 1944 and I'll fill it in further into the build I also started on the cockpit

Thats an interesting one. Having just finished my 1/72 model of its sister ship NX1202 with same race number. N1204 is the one Kermit Weeks has in 'Tuskegee' scheme and airworthy. N1202 became race 60 and also had a colour and name change to 'The Houstonian'.
Q1: Will you be keeping the decals if you're not doing it in red? Q2: If not, can I beg them from you?

sent you a PM

This will be my entry into this group build. It will NOT be a racer I havent decided on the markings yet.

I just finished this build a ew days ago. I have added all the small parts since the pics were taken. Painted with Lifecolor paints and I used Leading Edge decals.

Brilliant Lloyd and I know this is only a percentage of you work this year.
it is a small portion I have a total of 53 builds completed so far
-
I also thought the first pic was a reference photo, that is an awesome build.

Isn't that top-wing roundel actually to be on the underside? Seems awfully large?
I'm in agreement with Jaffe284 it should be on the bottom, If you say it goes on top and it was a special paint job, I would like to see the reference's refering to this special paint job.
