I built this for the USAAF in Europe GB. This plane was with the 340th bomb Group, 489th Bomb Squadron and flew out of Corsica and completed 108 missions. Built OOB except for the prop-blur, painted with LifeColor paints. Decals are from Bombshell Decals.

I'll be building tamiya's 1/48 A-10A it will be OOB except for the decals. I had planned to build it earlier but found something else to build after I had painted the insides.

Academy 1/32 F-16 Built OOB and used Two-Bobs Decals, painted with LifeColor.

It is a block 30, it received it's scheduled gear replacement (where it received the heavy duty gear) in 2007 just prior to being reassigned to the AL ANG. I'll eventually find some strengthening plates that I'll add to it later

After getting bored on this build I'm going to try to get it finished in time. Here are the pics up to the point when I put it away

This is the Monogram C-47, built OOB.

Calling this one finished. the rest of the pics will be in the gallery soon. I changed my mind about the markings and went with a D-Day bird.

okay, I didnt get to start on the C-47 when I had planned to, we had a storm that came through and the wind snapped a few utility poles in the area including the one in my backyard, have been without power until around 4pm yesterday and the internet and cable came back on about an hour ago, this is what I have gotten done since yesterday.

It is a rebox of the academy and they just released it this month

I have decided to build this C-47 while I'm waiting for the P-38J to arrive. It will be OOB. I will be using aftermarket decals, I have had this kit in my stash for awhile.

All finished, the only problem I incountered was there is no room in the nose to add any weight. I used Lifecolor paints, Bombshell decals and added the propblur.

I have a set of 6 artist pens that are called Shades of Grey made by Faber Castell

I have it primed, preshaded and painted and clear coated, all thats left is to put the decals, landing gear and top turrent on

got a little bit more done today, the pilots are in the cockpit, sub-assemblies done and the canopy masked

My second build wil be the new Eduard P-38J. I'll post the pics when it arrives, I just recieved the email that it has shipped.

Started this morning by painting the interior and pilots.

This my entry into the GB. It will be OOB. Ruthie flew 108 missions.
