My daughter has decided that I don't need to build the ugly green merlin and needed to build the CH-149 instead good thing I wasn't to far into the build, I'll still be using the Airfix kit and the Belcher Bits CH-149 conversion.

I started out by cutting out the panels that needed to be replaced

I would go for the yellow peril, I've got a 1.72 WIP going on that may provide a few tips ☺. There's also a comprehensive conversion from Belcher Bits. Certainly be a colourful bird!

I have that conversion and the one that demands to be heard has made the demand for the CH-149. I'll start a new build thread for it when I get back home next week
