  1. Say what now? How wrong are we talking about?
  2. Because we pay them. It's a hard truth. Why don't postage costs fall back to the pre-Covid levels yet? Because we pay them. The international container prices were at one point lower than in 2019, did the price of Far Eastern kits in EU drop? No. Because we pay what the importers ask for them. Why is every new aftermarket item more expensive than the last one? Because enough people will pay the new price.
  3. There was a CAD IIRC, and it was not much better than the Occidental kit. Then came Covid, and it was shelved.
  4. How does the ESCI Gina compare to the Occidental one?
  5. @FlatlandFox Italeri's 2022 1:48 F-35B kit shows what they can do when they want to. It's their best kit up to now. But it's an exception in their catalogue.
  6. IPMS USA is it's own worst enemy. Organized hobby is dying, but overall the number of people who buy and build scale models is rising - else we would not still be in the golden age re: new kit and aftermarket releases. Next weekend is Mosonshow in Hungary, I expect more than 3000 kits and figurines and thousands of people I have to trample to get to the vendor stands.
  7. Italeri is many things but not cheap.
  8. Only Kahu parts in Hasegawa kit are a few antennas and the decals.
  9. All you can use are the wheels and the seat. Pity that the Heritage kit isn't available. The only positive thing I can say about the Aeropoxy kit is that it exists.
  10. Finally the slim nose old AV-8B gets a re-release🍻
  11. modelsua.com is a great seller. No affiliation, just a satisfied customer for the last decade or more.
  12. If there are any differences I don't see them, hence the question.
  13. Because I purchased the AIMS pre-war cowl for Roden kit 🫣 I know, I know...
  14. I can not for the life of me find in words or pictures what are the differences between the pre-war and wartime Gloster Gladiator cowlings. What am I missing? TIA, Vedran
  15. Because first tooling FW's had shape and fit issues. Hellcat has none of those?
  16. Oh, I'm sorry, should we buy an incorrect kits galore and sing praises in Swedish? PS Eduard had similar reactions when they botched the I-16. And the 109's. Twice. Yet they learned and overcame.
  17. That is true. But I (and the rest, it seems) expect the new releases to be at least accurate in the shapes, if not in all the details. Even Eduard learned this. I hope that PR learn from this and that the Venom will be as good as it can be.
  18. ^This. I have the Tunnans and J-21 and am eagerly avaiting the Austrian SAAB 105, but this Vampire is a serious letdown.
  19. Surely you jest. I'll also do my best, I offer 10 Euros max for the kit. Who of us has 50+ they demand?
  20. The "joke" is that 3D printing is one of the cheapest methods of mass producing the detail parts, yet it is still the most expensive end product. I know it's a free market and I am voting with my wallet.
  21. The sum is outrageous even if it were for the stl files. But if you want a shocker, check out the Metallic Details B-1 wheels and wheelbays 😱
