  3. Hi Thank you very much. Glad you like them. Thank you very much. Well, is not only about the Tiger Moth I share this passion with my father, Raul Hrubisko. We enjoy the hobby as a team. He began his collection of British warplane models on 1/72 scale when he was fourteen. He read a wartime story involving the De Havilland DH89 Mosquito, and both the story and the aircraft impressed him greatly. It was then that his passion for RAF modelling started, and it eventually developed into what it is today. We have 1120 models done. Our goal is to build All the aircraft types that flew with the Royal Air Force, the Fleet Air Arm and all the Commonwealth (Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Rhodesia, etc.) in the time frame between 1936 and 1947, in all major versions (including field modifications, different or special markings, different armaments, different scheme colour camouflage, etc.) which were used in all the operational theatres or special operations. And to include also Lend-Lease and captured enemy types under British markings. We also try to include in each series the aircraft which were flown by Ango Argentine pilots, most of them had very particular nose arts” Just to give you an idea about the process behind each series of our collection please note: We discuss the following projects (series) taking into account these points: We have information about it (books, magazines, photos, etc.) Number of kits available in our stock Size of the models due to lack of physical space in our display cabinets. After selecting the aircraft to be represented as a sub-collection or series we following steps: Do the selection of each aircraft to be included in the series to achieve our goal (different schemes, markings, etc). Contact our friends in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc to obtain information + photos which cannot be found in the common books or publications. Many of the models cannot even be thinking without their support. Make the number of kits needed and then look out the ways to obtain them at low cost. Make a summary of each aircraft with a detail of the things that must be in mind for building the models (modification of the original kit, colours, markings, etc As you can see we do not do the kits OOB but we try to represent each aircraft with all the different camos, versions, markings, armaments, etc. We do not build a model without a photo. We have made mistakes but always try to do our best in terms of research. Aircraft: Crane FJ.122 - Port Engine, Mfg. No. 11165, R.C.A.F. No. 23944 Starboard Engine, Mfg. No. 11166, R.C.A.F. No. 23945 GB1147945 Sergeant Campey,W., was captain of A/C FJ.122. Other occupant was R.122343 Sergeant Bean C.B. The A/C struck an aerial while low flying. They attempted to return to base on one engine, but were unable to maintain height and crashed. No one was injured. Airframe and both engines seriously damaged At the beginning I thought that it could not be this aircraft since the photo didn´t look "seriously damaged" but then I realized that the second engine couldn´t be seen. The only way you can see it from that angle is if it was broken. So, I think that you are right.
  8. Hi Jerry That is awesome!!!. So, If the date on the photo is 23-8-42 (not 100% sure since my vision is not very good) then we have a winner.. Thank you very very much!!! The last thing is to know the serial number apart from the FJ122. I mean the big numbers on the fuselage since the FJ122 should have been applied smaller. Cheers Santiago
  9. I have checked all the accidents of the 15 Service Flying Training School which appears on the site. I selected the 15 SFTS with a serial number ending in 0, 2, 3, 8 or 9 with an accident like the ones that appear on the photo). Unfortunately, the date does not match.   10. Hi Geoffrey Thank you very much for the link. It is great. !!! Yes, agree. The date looks reads 23-8-42 (not 43) and the serial number should end in 0, 2, 3, 8 or 9 (as per the photo I posted).   11. Hi Thanks to @Carl V we have a very nice selection of photos of the Cessna Crane used by RCAF during WWII. We are thinking about doing this series shortly. We are trying to do some series of less known aircraft. During my research, I came across this site: BCATP Station Claresholm (bombercommandmuseumarchives.ca) At the middle page appears the following photo: It looks like the cowlings were painted in red. Am I right? If so, is there any possibility to trace the serial number? The only information is that belongs to No. 15 EFTS and the photo reads. ..."23/8/43" Thank you very much in advance Kind regards Santiago
