  1. There are rumours Erdogan is happy with (and approves) any release of the Turkish war materiel models. As long as it's 1/72.
  2. It depends what you understand by 'Kurnass', as this airplane evolved during its service life (as all Phantoms did). Initial deliveries were with non-slated wings and without formation lights - if you want e.g. Yom Kippur War Kurnass the right choice will be F-4E (Early) "Vietnam War" boxing (FP 41). Starting from November 1972, newly-delivered Phantoms had already slatted wing and until 1978 all previously-delivered F-4Es were converted to slatted wing, that Fine Molds does not offer, I'm afraid. And we don't know still if it is going to be produced. Hope that helps, Michal
  3. I'd put my money on sprues N and O containing nose and other parts of RF-4E used by JASDF, so far not released by FM (they had the existing, non-slatted wing). As for the slatted wing - I lost hope after doing similar analysis to yours some months ago. Simply wing sprue doesn't have a numeral suffix. Nevertheless if future releases will prove me wrong wrt wing, this will be the sweetest proving wrong ever! They could introduce two-letter sprue designations after all (e.g. AA, AB, AC etc.).
  4. My first impression upon seeing this boxart was: is this a mustard gas attack?
  5. Thank for the link, I will think about it. The thing is that I have great DXM and Platz decal sets, would like to do 4 machines in special markings, but important element of them are inscriptions on the centreline fuel tank. It was missing in the main issue of F-2A kit, but was added in F-2B. The F-2A "Flight Development Experiment Group" also had it, but don't want to buy too many of this boxing - if I return to sanity someday and will want to reduce the stash, experimental version might be difficult to sell. The Veer Guardian looks great on the other hand.
  6. Does anyone know if the Veer Guardian edition of F-2A will have a sprue with the centreline fuel tank?
  7. I'd put my bet that it's actually an undercarriage of Ki-84 Hayate. The only drawing of CW-21 undercarriage there is this one: https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/attachments/escanear0008-jpg.93485/ Might be that there were two articles in the same magazine and someone took all drawings for CW-21B?
  8. Well spotted! Indeed both CW-21 and CW-21B had top part of canopy plexi tinted. I don't know the colour, but maybe some clue would be the fact, that Polish PZL Los bomber had similar solution applied and plexi was tinted blue.
  9. Not sure if Dora will provide an aircraft in a crated version, though (that reportedly 27 were produced). Apart from that only aircraft with civilian and later Chinese markings were actually flying, I believe there were 4 of them in total. I guess we will see some what-ifs.
  10. Very good point. Different undercarriage etc. Do we know if they will be releasing the 'main' (CW-21B) version also?
