Would recommend you get them Viper, real nice easy build to get rid of the old modellers block. The wheel width is 10mm.

Based on the photo's and comments here and the fact that I haven't actually built anything in about 8 months I picked up these 2 little beauties earlier to break myself back in: As the boss man has already got a little review of the DBR9 going I plumped for the Jag. As a comparison I pulled out the 1:24 Renaissance DBR9 I have here. As is obvious these are a rather compact little offering, but none the less have a surprising level of detail. The proportions of the Aston sit pretty well in comparison to the larger and dearer option (see north of £100). Having nothing to compare the Jag too I can't comment on the accuracy of the mould, but it looks pretty. As per Mike's review of the Aston interior the Jag suffers from the same problems. Pin marks are prevalant on the floor pan and seat but should be easily wiped out by a modeller of modest skill (that's me then). The suspension although simplistic is an ingenious touch and falls together easily. The body shell only really has 2 major mould lines over the front arches, but 2 minutes with 1200 grit wet and dry sorted that. The only other part that needed attention was the flow marks at the rear arches, but that's me just being picky. The tyres on the other hand required 180 grit to get rid of the mould line that runs round the centre, but as is obvious to all car modellers who have built a resin kit this is no different to usual. So far about 20 minutes work has the shell and major parts ready for some primer. For the sum of £9 each I can live with the pin marks and recommend this kit to anyone who cares to ask.

If you want rid of the trailer and car out of the kit, I'll be glad to take them off your hands.

I've used both dot 4 brake fluid and oven cleaner with success. Both will fog the clear parts if they aren't removed first though

Well after Mike's hiring of non-union rodents and the subsequent revolt by the masses that closed the site for a couple of days I had to resort to filling my time playing Dirt 2 on the Xbox360. This has caused another rethink and the resurrection of an idea I've had for a few years. I now plan on building this beast: This is the 330bhp monster that the legend Colin McRae had specially built by DJM. The car has full independent suspension all round so this is proving the first challenge. It is also a right hooker where as the RoG kit is LHD. Decals will also have to be home made. Pictures to follow on Monday.

Still have a lot of me old Space Wolves figs. Find these a good distraction when the old modellers block sets in as you can just throw paint at 'em how you like. If you check out the Bolter and Chainsword site also they have a pretty good how to section for painting most of the GW stuff.
