  1. Aaah, didn't realise that there was a different version available, I guess that is for the shops/distributors of Eduard product! Apologies for getting your hopes up
  2. I assume that you mean the Info leaflet? If so, it's still available in English on the Eduard website, click on INFO near the top of the page and for older issues, click on Archive within the INFO page! Hope this helps...
  3. I like that, a great build! As for the guns, the pilot did have a firing button on his control column and if I remember correctly, I have read somewhere, that if the gunner was wounded, he was meant to rotate the turret to face forward, so that the pilot was able to fire the guns! Whether this was through the propeller or above the arc of the blades, I cannot recall!
  4. Hi Ali, I'm unwilling to send the clear sprues until I get a replacement set and assuming that this happens, then I'm happy to let you have a complete set of clear sprues, although I haven't yet heard back from Hannants, though I know that they have read my email! I'll keep you informed, unless someone else gets there first
  5. Hi Simon, With regard to the quality of the mouldings, that's also my feeling but it would be nice if Border followed Eduard's lead, when they got the Bf 109G moulding wrong and retooled! With any luck, maybe someone will issue vac-form or resin replacements (Aerocraft Models?)
  6. I've checked my clear parts and no cracks but I would say that around 1/3rd have very fine hairlines within the plastic itself! They're are certainly not scratches and agree that they are caused by the moulding process, while many of the curved parts (canopies, turrets, etc), also have an orange peel effect finish to them! I haven't yet contacted Hannants about the issue but will be doing so but, does anyone know if Border Models have done anything to corrected these issues?
  7. Not specifically Spitfire related but can anyone provide drawings/photos or any details about the trolley/trailer that is carrying the the Spitfire fuselage, in the picture that CMK have used for their item 4102... ...as I'm trying to build something similar! Many thanks TonyC
  8. To stevehnz, RAF4EVER, jenko and the 8 others, you should be ashamed of yourselves and must stop encouraging Kiwidave4
  9. As already said, great and interesting shots of the Lizzie but I'm confused by the picture showing glass below the cockpit sill, does the airframe normally have glass behind the fuselage (armoured glass for pilot protection?) or does the canopy actually retract into the fuselage, rather than being hinged or sliding back? Thanks Tony C
  10. That's all I do and use a cocktail stick, which has had both ends removed, one end then drilled and a pin then pushed in the resulting hole, to apply the glue! Tony C
  11. Same here, I also read the book a few years ago, will have to dig it out again!
  12. I've got a GR.3 on long term build, so I'll tag along as well, more than likely I'll learn something along the way
  13. Just to add my congratulations, a worthy place for all that hard work and hopefully will be appreciated by those that see it, in the future!
  14. 1:20, 1:24, 1:12, I don't care, I just want an FW108D (a FW18 would be welcome as well)
  15. It would be nice to see, in 1:48 scale... Fairey Gannet series including wing fold option Bristol Brigand Fairey Battle Bristol Blenheim Mk.IV Miles Master Mk.III In 1:24 scale... Williams F1 FW108D six wheeler In 1:4 scale... A range of infantry weapons from the First & Second World War periods such as the Lee Enfield SMLE, Mauser, Vickers Machine Guns etc...
  16. I'm totaly confused now, woke up, switched on the PC, up came the 'new' screen! Try restarting it one more time before I trot off to PC World to see if they can offer any advise, PC restarts and lo and behold, everything is back to normal! I've restarted it several times without issues and everything works as it should! I did nothing apart from restarting the bloody thing, never touched any keys so one question, WHY? I've come to the conclusion that all PC's are female because I don't know how they work either!
  17. Nope, nothing seems to work I wouldn't mind if it was an old unit but I only bought it 18 months ago, though I guess that 18 months in the Tech World is like 1000 years, in the real world! Will continue to play but again, many thanks for all the advise offered
  18. Well, no luck, as there no external buttons to press (it's an Acer Aspire C24 All-in-One desktop)! Seems that all I can do is... Switch the PC on which allows me to... Enter Passcode, which then proceeds to the screen shown above. If I press Ctrl-Alt-Del, I get the option list of 'Lock', Switch User', 'Sign out' or 'Task Manager'! All these option simple lead me back to the screen shown above. When pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del, the other options shown in the lower right hand corner are an Internet icon, Ease of Access icon and the Power button, which all lead back to the above screen! I've tried pressing a few keyboard keys without any success, could it be that there is a combination of keyboard keys, which would allow me to reset the screen resolution? Any further help that could be offered to this bumbling, technologically ungifted muppet, would be gratefully received! Thanks for the advise so far received! Tony C
  19. Thanks both, it’s an Acer PC, hadn’t thought about monitor buttons, I’ll give those a push tomorrow after work! Much appreciated 👍🏻
  20. I have a Windows 10 issue that I’d like to ask if anyone here can resolve! 2 days ago, when I switched on my machine (Acer), before I could doing anything, the computer went into automatic update mode and when finished, I was left with a screen, as shown below. There is no possibility to click on any icon beyond the Ease of Access icon at the the lower left corner of the picture, which only allows you to change audio control, magnification, on screen keyboard, plus a couple of others, with a voice saying that the computer will remember these settings! To get rid of this screen, I shut down and restarted and was able to continue without any problems! Job done I thought, until yesterday (& today) whereby I get the same screen but despite restarting, shutdown and restarting multiple time, I cannot get beyond this ‘screen’! Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea, beyond hitting it with a sledge hammer, how to resolve the issue? Many thanks, am at work until 06:00 so apologies if I don’t respond quickly!
  21. Hi Fozz, I haven't commented on this build, as much as I have on your other builds but have watched, waited, and waited again, for each update and just want to add my twopenthworth... Its alright, I suppose! Seriously, brilliant job, it's amazing what you do, with a yogurt pot, a little bit of tin foil and redundant electrically power lead Whats next, wings by any chance
