  1. The same trackor, different angle. It was definitely 4wd, you can just about see the front diff in this shot and the shiny hub Also found this on my phone, taken on the same day - Andy
  2. Could not put it better myself, so I didn't 😁, but I whole heartily agree. Thanks for posting - Andy
  3. Another cracking start, I'm always a bit wary of painting on the sprues as I'm concerned that I'll ruin the paint when removing the part or I won't notice a seam until too late. However your results show that I should give it a go - Andy
  4. Thanks @Neddy, @mbdesignart (the pick-up looks great), @klubman01, @keefr22 (those guillotine windows look interesting), @Spiny, @Anteater & @triumphfan for your comments and ideas. Originally I had dismissed the sheet acetate as I was (and still not) sure of the best way to attach them. However as I have about 20 A4 sheets of the stuff it would be churlish not to try this method first, stay tuned and thanks again - Andy
  5. You should be, the painting is outstanding along with your scratch building - Andy
  6. I still can't work out how you build a model of that quality in just a month - Andy
  7. I've been on another farm today and spotted these, they look a little more standard than the last one, however my knowledge of tractors is pretty much non existent so happy to be taught otherwise - Andy
  8. I know you mentioned that you actually enjoy the foiling, which is just as well with this beast. Very delicate work, where the rear pillars meet the rear wings must have taken a very steady hand. - Andy
  9. Thanks for all the comments as ever, especially @Anteater who has had me scratching my head trying to work out how to install sliding windows. Also thanks to @klubman01 for the photos and I've got to admit they do look cool. I've re watched the A4 garage video on YouTube to see how he did it and quickly come to the conclusion that that there's no way I could replicate his system. Therefore I have a cunning plane, but just not sure I'm brave enough to try it. The side windows instal from inside, so the theory is that I do a cut and shut. I could cut out the red section and then glue the two pieces back together. The join would replicate the end of the outside (front) section and then I would need to scribe a line on the inside to represent the front of the rear section. However I am far from convinced that this would work so any ideas are more than welcome 🙏. The only real progress thus week is that I have finished the exhaust. I achieved the curve by heating the styrene rod with a hair drier and the bending over an appropriate size curve. The pipe attaches to the exhaust manifold via a couple of magnets. I also managed to utilise the flexible section from the kit part. Thanks again for looking - Andy
  10. The paint looks spot on to me too - Andy
  11. You can definitely improve on the engine brace - Andy
  12. To your usual high standard, however I particularly like the interior - Andy
  13. Great job on the decals, she looks fantastic - Andy
  14. Definitely worth the effort, great result - Andy
  15. I overtook this on the A11 thus morning, I pulled into a lay-by up the road and just managed to get this very poor shot - Andy
  16. I actually consider myself as a massive music fan with very varied taste, however I had never come across these albums. A quick Internet search shows there are some very interesting tracks on this series. Thanks of making me aware of them - Andy
  17. The writing on the bonnet said super six if that helps.
  18. Forgot to add this pair seen in Beccles the other day
  19. Great progress, there was a Burrell having a bit on an overhaul in the barn were I was on Tuesday, so I thought you might like to see these. The top hole is where the flywheel goes and the bottom is for the axle, definitely no suspension. From the otherside with new wooden brake shoes The flywheel and crankshaft And finally the rear axle Keep up the good work - Andy
  20. Great work with the embossing powder, its something I've never manage to achieve with any real level of success. What adhesive did you use? - Andy
  21. Thanks again to @Pete in Lincs , @Neddy & @klubman01 for your interest. Not certain what yo do as yet with the door pulls as they are still a bit fluffy even after I have brushed them with diluted PVA. Thanks Keith thats a great idea to loosen the adhesive and one I will definitely be trying. Thanks Anteater The seats are painted in zero textured charcoal paint which I can't recommend highly enough. With regards to opening a window its a great idea, however as I have opened up the door cards if I stick with a wind-down mechanism I would have to show the glass in the lowered position or try to covert it to the earier sliding window. Which I'm not sure how to do. Thanks again - Andy
  22. Working a bus company last week and spotted this round the back. It was the pride and joy of the owners Son and had just come back from its MOT ( having been off the road since 2011) Totally original and if you look closely you can still see the eighties Feu Orange air fresher
  23. Working on a farm this week and saw this, does it count?
