  1. Fantastic progress, the crome rush is particularly well done. I've had great success using an elmer's white paint marker with a fine tip to make white walls https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393901796217 Amazon also stock them Plus its ever so easy as you simply use the pen to draw on several thin layers (letting the paint dry between each coat). This method is what I used on my Fiat below - Andy
  2. Every update, its truly a great piece of modelling and full of real character. Thanks for sharing as I have picked numerous ideas and inspiration whilst reading your WIP thread. - Andy
  3. A beautiful build and as the others have said the colour combination is perfect for her - Andy
  4. Yep definitely with you on that one, glad to see all issues caused by this step were repairable. I can't believe I'm going to type this but I actually think the brown suits the car. She's looking very clean, however I think I might need a lie down - Andy
  5. Thank you Gents - the calipers were surprisingly easy to make and more astonishingly they worked out first time! - Andy
  6. It always a pleasure when your updates are as good as this. - Andy
  7. It's been a real joy watching this come together and the end result is certainly worthy of all your effort she's absolutely flawless - thanks for sharing - Andy
  8. Just a small update, the calipers are now complete; hopefully the pictures are fairly self explanatory (the raised detail in last photo is stretched sprue). The calipers just slip over the discs which will make painting a lot easier. Thanks @Fnick @longshanks @keefr22 for the nudge as they are far more visible than I thought! Thanks again for looking and your comments - Andy
  9. A very simply but elegant solution. It these little touches that make all the difference - Andy
  10. Thank you Chris, I've enjoyed making the rear end, despite it being incredibly frustrating at times - Andy
  11. I can only imagine how much preparation has gone into this, but you results speak for themselves, absolutely stunning - Andy
  12. Thank you Spiny, once I had sussed out what to do it was actually quite simple (put the three fixed points in place (the two diff mountings and the rear axle) then use sheet styrene to fix these elements together and then add the detail) . However as with a lot of things on this build I made several false starts before I hit upon a eureka moment. - Andy
  13. Thanks Gents for the compliments and yes I will now add the calipers - Andy PS. I must remember not to mention the other items I'm not going to add on
  14. It's a long shot, but could it be the roll cage manufacturer Safety Devices? I know they a sponsored Ford in the past and their colours are black and orange - good luck in your research - Andy.
  15. Hi Nick, despite the fitment issues the cars really looking the part. - Andy
  16. I've finally finished the rear diff and more importantly it fit's. I added the mounting points for the diff to the rear frame frame and installed magnets to attach it. This means it will be easier to attach and secondly this gives slight movement in order to allow for correct alignment. The rear disc were simply made using a compass cutter, not sure whether I will add the calipers as yet as I am not sure how visible they will be. Thanks for looking - Andy
  17. I still can't work out how you can build as clean as you do and at the rate you do - top work - Andy
  18. Great work on the floors, well worth your extra effort. Have you thought about improving the door pulls? Compared to all your other improvements they should be quite simple. - Andy
  19. Absolute perfection, they really add to the character of your build - Andy
  20. I love admiring all your work, but its definitely your painting skills that set you apart - Andy
