    I recall reading somewhere It was a modification as the rear gun turret was difficult to operate when the aircraft was at speed so the small flaps on the edge of the frame made it easier utilising the airflow.

    Try VMS clean slate, I’ve rescued a couple of spraying mishaps with it, it’s great stuff

    Got to agree, superb work so far, hopefully the kit has removable panels/ upper hull so it can be seen.
