Working on the decals for an LSSAH Ausf H at Kursk.

Thanks guys.... I was fighting moisture in the airbrush, the whole time, what should have taken an hour, ended up being 4 hours, with the green cammo. A little bit of a chore. I''m not sure how much time I'll have later, but I'm hoping to get the varnish on for the decals.

Tamiya’s M4a3E8 is so nice, I have a few in the stash. I’ve really enjoyed the new Academy Panzer III J, recently, too.

Don’t worry about that !! The F4 Phantom proves, that if you use a big enough engine, you can make anything fly 😉

Olive green, a little faded, is complete. This has to dry, now…

A little pre-shade and base color… Mixed up some Vellejo Desert Sand, lightened with Ivory, and added some Dark Flesh to warm the color.

I think I’m about to break out the airbrush…

The detail is pretty nice in this kit. The screws on the turret roof are even molded at different angles.

We have Primer !! Yay !! Mr. Surfacer 1000 in grey.

I’m pretty sure the detail around the items are too close, and they’ll be damaged while trying to remove the items. If I was going to attempt it, I’d try going real slow with a chisel edged blade. Shave it down a little at a time. Just my 2 cents worth.

Oh, dear… I got distracted be a couple of Pix of Ausf. H vehicles at Kursk. A G. Following a line of Ausf H. Vehicles.

The JagdPanther is still waiting on paint. This Pz IV H is ready for primer. The Ausf G stalled at the winter whitewash. Stug III G and Panzer III L are ready for paint, and the III J is ready for primer, still, but I'm looking for a scheme I actually want for that one. So that's the rundown...

When I get back from work… Ugh !! I must remember to add the antenna mount, then it’ll get a bath ready for primer 👍

Well, I was hoping to have this ready for paint today, but work got in the way. I did manage to get the skirt rails on.
