  1. So, how long did you guys spend, Googling “Interesting cow images.”? 🤔 😂👍
  2. Notice how Smoooooth, the rolled armored plate is. Not rough at all
  3. Little bit of a thread drift.... Food related. I'm surprised these cows survived enterprising armies from both sides, in Normandy. I'm sure there were a few former butchers amongst the forces. Steak would have been a nice additive to a meal.
  4. Dude !! You'll have 3 months... You could build a 1/1 scale Tiger in that time
  5. Nothing happening here... I thought that the Mustang GM started on the 6th, but it's not, it's the 9th... I must admit that I'm a little demoralized with my building/painting, right now, and can't seem to build up the steam to push though and finish anything. I don't think it's a lack of Mojo, just that things are taking too long, with research, and I seem to be losing interest on subjects. I'd ordered another Tamiya E8 off Amazon, but when it arrived, the whole turret shell was missing from the box. I contacted Tamiya USA, and they said they'd send one out, but that was over a week ago, lol. The E8 is a Mojo restoring build, but without the turret, it's a non-starter. The Tiger GB doesn't start until the 30th, and I have a couple of Tigers in various states of completion, mainly waiting on me to build up the motive to work on the tow-rope and cleaning rod brackets. Way too many kits started, and a loss of interest in the subjects. We shall see how things go.
  6. I just finished Arnhem, 1944, by Martin Middlebrook for the tenth time. It's one of my go-to books. Now reading Masters of the Air, by Donald L. Miller, which I'm sure needs no explanation, here.
  7. Look for an older copy of Achtung Panzer on EBay or Amazon. Lots of details, but be careful because some details are out of date. You could always contact Ron Owen Hayes on Missing Lynx.
  8. Weathering will knock any overspray down, Dan… (not that I can see any overspray… 🤔) Looks fantastic to me 👍
  9. Panzer IV type 7 tracks look to be a close match. Especially for the grooves on the track shoe. The teeth may be a little large.
  10. I’m not totally sure exactly what you’re asking, but the kit represents a “paper panzer”. It never entered production.
  11. Dan, I'd be super proud of that one !! The paintwork looks awesome !! 👍 Hush that Dirty Mouth !! 🤔 Spreading malicious rumors, like that !!
  12. I would definitely try gloss varnish prior to using an oil or enamel wash. I actually used floor polish, (Clear ?) on my Pz IV. Having a mat finish, tends to soak up the pin wash and leave tide marks. (Others find different, but could depend on the type of thinner/solvent.) Keep a dry brush handy, and you can mop up or blend in some of the excess. 👍
  13. Awesome work as always , Andrew !! 👍
  14. Yes, just don't start until March 30th 👍
  15. I have no idea... I'm just going with rage guesses
  16. Lovely, atmospheric finish, and great photos to boot !! 👍 Almost time for you to join the Tiger STGB 🤔👍
  17. Great finish for such a small subject 👍
  18. Nice job, and a really clean build, Darryl !! 👍
  19. Great job Stef !! Now for the Tiger GB 👍
  20. Great work, Dan !! I couldn’t get that tight a line, if I’d masked it !! 😂👍
  21. Great work all around !! 👍 If I could just make one slight observation… Your bridge arch lacks a Key-stone… Can you still add one each side at the top of the arches ?
