Hi Folks Been showing mostley old stuff around here, so it´s time to show something from "in the works" section. Last year I started upp Special Hobby 32-Scale Nieuport 11. The kit is very nice and includes a little etch fret and some nicley casted resin details. The interior is builded up almost oob, only the seat was made a new and thinner one. Holes was drilled out and the cusion and seatbelts from the kit will be used. Some detailwirings added. The only place were some sanding is needed is around the front off the frame, there´s some round details on the outside off the frame, marked with red arrow in the pics. When this is fixed the fuselage halves closes nicley. The paints used is Humbrols for the linnen and oils for the wood. Larsa

Much interesting new, just gor home with a bag from Wingnuts including the Pup and Dv. Going to start up the work on them tomorrow. The bag also included Rodens Siemens S.This kit needs some correct colored lozenges, a hard nut to crack in 32-scale. Do you have any new about that? Larsa
-
This is looking really nice in my eyes, Wolf maching is just heaven. Please, make this happen Larsa Later today I´ll going to get my new Wingnutters
-
Hi Folks The decals from Roden is the worst case. I used up two sets to get the model done. If you have this on the bench I recommend that you to replace the decals. Never found any replacements or aftermarket decals for this one so you have to dig in you´r spares. The leaves is made from paper and easy to do, just bring out the trusty VISAcard and order them from Plus Model. I got my box from Jadar. Jadar Building topics, yep did that on aeroscale but most off the links broken I guess, here you have the link to my photoalbum whare all pics are. Pfalz DIII The little Rat is a Plus model kit, just for that fun,

There was pictures of the Hucks starter. Is there anyone who have taken some good pictures off it and is there any information about this truck?Would be awesome to build one up for a Vignette for Wingnuts F2b. Larsa

This vignette was fixed after the Roden 1/32 Pfalz was done. Used etch from Parts for the machine and scratched the figure from an old Tamyia figure. The bicycle and dog, also Tamyias Loving these way to presenting a finished model, just needing a very good idea for a vignette. Cheers for now Larsa

Thanks guys Tiger2 There was no good stories about the build anymore just alots of red X. I do have some pics left from the build so here they are. The interior and engine bfore closups. I used the etch from Eduard(32583), I made an new seat from plasticard and covered it with flatten Milliput. The engine was wired up and new valvesprings was added. The whole interior was painted in Humbrols/oilpaint for the woodgrains. As you can see the wings was preshaded before the camoflage paint went on.I used a gloss basecoat brown from Humbrols for the woodgrainings, Burnt Umber en Yellow Ohre (oilcolours)was mixed and used for the grains. The "pipe" was fixed with some Milliput, It was just a litlle short and thin. Hopefully this can inspire you to build one now Larsa

Hi Tiger2 Oboy I did this one years ago as I wrote. Here it goes I used etch from Eduard, even Parts have one set for this bird to.The engine was detailed up with sparkpluggs and wires: A new seat was fixed from plasticard for the interior. I´ll try to find the build agian on aeroscale for you. I´ll be back Larsa

“When I grow up, I will be ..............." Years ago I did the Roden`s Albatros DIII in 32 scale. I Used Spada decals aftermarket decals for the Voss machine (don´t know if Spada still around). Last year I ordered the Werner Voss figure from the Model Cellar and finally I got the paint on the figure. I used Humbrols when painting figures and alter the finish with some acrylic varnish for the flesh areas. The little boy besides the DIII is from Andrea Miniatures range, you can find him in the “Gunfighter Glamour” kit or as a spare. The fuel cart is scratchbuild from plasticard and wires. The wheels comes from Tamyias Fieldkitchen kit in 35-scale. The ladders where made from plasticard strips This took some time to get together, It was fun to take out an old build and making a vignette off it. Larsa

U got it darn good I must say.Having the Dv and this around there corner just trying to get some freespace on the desk to start up these kits.Meanwhile I´ll just love your build. Larsa

Don´t be jealous Nico, It’s the northern light I guess. I got mail today and if I'm lucky I´ll have the kit next Friday, Also I will have the Albatros D1, witch just is realised in Sweden now. You see it’s not always we are first here. The distributor told me that it don´t matter if you order home just one kit number or three or five, it’s just the same cost anyway to get the paperwork’s thru customs and all that politics we modellers give a damn in. So the distributor told me if there ain´t much talk in the town about one kit he hold awhile just to wait in next kit. This was the fact with the Albatros D1, it’s just too similar to the DIII, so he din´ order just that kit until now when the Nieuport was coming. So I´ll send in pics when I have the box Larsa -
Got mail from the Swedish distributor, he told me that he expecting to have the Nieu 28 home in one or two weeks, Hopefully the first kit get my adress. Larsa

i would like to see that there is plenty off maskingtapes in this box, precut squares, so all you have to do is line them up and keep them straight.. Larsa

I´m halfway thru this build, but this one was turned up at hyperscale, this looking real good Crocodile Please don´t get this wrong. It´s not my build. Cheers Larsa
