  2. There´s the modelling starts You can always mess it up good and start alover agian The hard one is to find a flat lycrathread for this one. Larsa
  3. Yep, the fun ends when the model is finished, then we take another model and keeps the fun-karma up again. Larsa
  4. Shake`n`bake, they tend to take your skill to a new level. Hoping to get my first kinderegg finished here.Just add glue to the box Larsa

  6. Hi Here´s pics from the next one, yet another Albatros. Hopefully I don´t have to paint this one in wood again(But thats why I started up the first one from Roden for Yet another Wnw and I must say that this taste´s more and more off Hasegawabuild than the kind off modelling I´m use to. Have not desided if I´m happy or angry, everthing seams to fit just fine The inside off the fuselage had some tiny zinkmarks so I just sanded them down a bit, hoping they not will be seen in the final stages. The wood was painted up using Humbrol´s 74 mixed with some white 43 as basecolour. The wood was mixed from Burnt Umber and Yellow Ochre, I did not use the tips from WNW do I already have my own styleLearn the wooden style here The interior greygreen was mixed from Humbrols 90 and 30. I added just a litle clear varnish to it. The seat had some sanding to thin the upper edge, then airbrushed with 62 leahter mixed with some black 33. The top off the edge will be highlited with leather 62 and some flesh in it. The boring engine again, this will be detailed up as usual, how many off these will I have to do??? Pfalz(I did two for this one) Albie D1 Albie DIII And this time for the Dv Last pic for this time is the fueltank,I did this in greygreen. WnW was not sure whjat colous so I just used what I had in the airbrush.. Now my hopes go to Pheon decals and hoping for a stunning greentail scheme to end this one up. Rowan see u Larsa
  7. A Mike Good is always a Mike Good. The best off the best in my opinion Larsa
  8. Sweet start there my friend, I´m just ahead off you for the moment but I´m shure that you will be done before me Offcourse there´s no race here, I´m just to old for race nowadays Larsa
  9. This is a small update off the status off the BeBe build. For the moment I´m sanding and fixing up the wings. When this is done there´s time for the first coat off basecolour or primer. Checking out for misshaps and zinkmarks in the filler. More to come Larsa
  10. Hi folks Here´s the first pics of my build. Using Humbrols and oils for all that paintings. The inside of the fuselage got the first coats of CDL, some leather was used to darken it around the corners. Humbrol 74 mixed with some white 34 was used as CDL.The seat was airbrushed with 62 leather mixed with some black 33.After drying up I´ll used leather and flesh to highlite ther seat. All wood in the frame I used Hu74 as basecolour, after dryingtime I used Cadmium Orange and Yellow Ochre for the grains.A thin coat off semivarnish used as sealer for the oils. The darker wood for the instrumentpanels I used Yellow Ochre and burnt Umbre. The seat belts is airbrushed in CDL and will be detailed up with some paint.Hopefully next update the interior is finished up. This is looking real promising, but I must say, it all seams to fit to well in these WingnuttersThat not what I use too, very little modelling and more of assembly. To much Tammygawa for me More later Larsa
  11. Found this at the waterhole this morning. I know Avis had a early fokker some time ago, but this is new for me.I don´t get the feeling from the pics that this is a reboxed Special Hobby, the breakings off the parts differ. Anyone having more info?? Jadar Larsa
  12. Why not use this guy next to the british mashine, that would be a cruel vignette Its a JMD Miniatures "British sergeant" check out SK miniatures Are you planing a vignette or ? Larsa
  13. Sorry, my mistake Larsa

  15. Hi my opinion on the large scale Mpm´s is just positive.Very similar to the early Rodens Fokker Dr1,Pfalz and Albie DIII kits. If you take your time with checking all parts before gluing and always take it easy this kit is just my way off modelling. The decals is a bit off problem for me,Because there no longer any replacements on the market I wil use the kitdecals, witch one I don´t know yet...pics and updates is on it´s way up here. For the moment there´s a Pup and a Dv from Wingnuts on the table(yes I´ll send them up to if you have the interest) Larsa
  16. Nice This will be fun, I´m just started up the other Pup the RNAS.pics coming as soon I get my hands on the camera again. Good luck with this build Larsa
  17. This is looking real food. real good. Just a little to much on the silverside for me. Brings back memories fronm the past. My Nieuport 17 Just little to much on the silver side, it was doped, not dreed in alu.But still I´m impressed off this build Go on Larsa
  18. Do you wait for me????? For the moment I´m gardening, will be back soon with some Updates. The fuselage halves needed some filler arounf the edges. Nothing big to worrie about. Larsa
  19. ice Looking good my friend. I wish I had your skill Larsa
  20. Thanks for the nice replays folks, here´s next update. The interior is finished and its time to close the lovley peice off interior in the fuselage. As always when thats happened man can almost catch a glimpt of all work thrue the tiny opening. The belts in place(from the etch of the kit), a pulsometerglass was fasioned from a clear peice of sprue. Finally a thin coat of semigloss varnish all over the interior to hide any gluemarks The wires in the frame was made from Gold-zack thread and hotstretched Q-tips. Last chance to see the interior And with Leonard Cohen`s song "It´s closing time" in the stereo See U later Larsa
  21. That´s Humbrols metalcote´s alu and burnt metal. Used the airbrush to get the shades. After dryng a swift polsh with a Tshirt. Larsa
  22. Thanks guys Hope fully there will be a Hucks along with wingnutters Bristol Larsa
  23. Here´s my friend Kofoed stunning Camel from another forum and time. Kofoed´s Camel Larsa
  24. My tip would be a copy of Windsock to give the information about the rigging, a thing to remeber is never to trust the kit instructions.Hating the etch (a strong word) I know the feeling, using etch all over the place is not to be recommended but it could bring life to the build sometimes. This Camel kit is very interesting. Larsa
