  1. Thanks Gary. That s a really great kit. Fitting is very succesfull. Plastic material is soft. It s good for sanding etc but it causes problem on landing gear legs. Using after market metal legs will be a good idea. For my opinion most tricky part of the old monogram is installation area of horizontal tails to the fuselage .

  7. Thanks Keith I have a Paragon MkXII conversion set for Hasegawa, but I am still not sure to start it as I mentioned to Dennis the surgery operations on the belly area.
  8. Thanks Dennis Yes converting Hasegawa Mk.V with Warbirds nose and wings needs a lot of surgeries and it s possible that the result on the belly area not be satisifed . It is also meaningless that any kit manufactures did not released Griffon engine Spitfires in 1/32 scale (except for PCM of course) Cheers
  9. Hello everybody Yet another one from pandemic quarantine days. This is 1/32 Trumpeter P-40F Warhawk “El Tigre” (41-14245) tactical code “87” from 66th FS / 57th FG Sicily 1943. Trumpeter’s top curve of the nose is off, it is not as it needs to be, it has a distinct hump. Thanks God the plastic is thick enough to sand it flatter. So I sanded this area a little. The new shape satisfied me. I have used Eduard instrument panel and CMK seat in the cockpit. Exhaust are Eduard resin parts for Hasegawa. Wheels comes from Hasegawa s P-40 parts. I have used Gunze Sangyo acrylics Decals : Nose art and El Tigre decals are from Custom Hobby Decals Australia. The rest are from my spare box Happy modelling
