  1. The TERMA was fitted on the right hand (viewed from the rear) side in place of the strake, SNIPER on the left in place of the strake. A likely load for the trial would have been tanks/BOL launchers with a sidewinder acquisition missile and maybe a RAIDS pod
  2. This is my Tilly built OOB apart from some plastic rod for the frame on the rear and some copper wire to make the hooks for the rear cover, a fantastic kit goes together like a dream. The figure is from the Tamiya British troops and the wall section is out of my spares box.
  3. Picked up a nice little bargain at the Works at the Peterborough Garden Park. Revell 1/32 Red Arrows Hawk £14.99 , then they gave me a 10% voucher !!, so all in all for the princely sum of £13.49 I got a Hawk. Not a bad deal, especially as the good lady baulked at £59.99 for the Tamiya Elefant, but then again so did I!!!!
  4. Here is the Airfix 1/72 Harrier in 41® TES markings........well almost didn't have the fin cap, but can't win them all. This is a very nice kit straight from the box. I've already got another one on the bench!! She's been presented for a leaving gizzit.
  5. Ok sorry Gents, in my old age going colour blind ZA600 tail is silver and ZA614 is white, amazing when you take it for granted walking past the jet everyday what you miss!!!
  6. Both 600 and 614 have white tails
  7. Here are the new GR4 tails .mmmm nuff said!!
  8. Sorry to say the GR4 tail markings have changed (pics to follow) and yes there as lack lustre as the Typhoon (same cross but a little smaller)
  9. These are the new markings for 41 Typhoons
  10. Unless it's a GR7 etc as there was no locking pin placed in the pylon once the store was fitted, the white lever on the pylon was rotated to safeor flight as required
  11. To make the PWII into Typhoon fit you need to make them EPWII (enhanced) : http://images.google.com/imgres?q=enhanced+paveway+2&num=10&hl=en&biw=1366&bih=610&tbm=isch&tbnid=t51QQnFL_-tofM:&imgrefurl=http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php%3Fshowtopic%3D234922906&docid=pPftPimTy7mq4M&imgurl=http://www.britmodeller.com/walkarounds/ordnance/ep%2525202/ep%2525207.JPG&w=1010&h=671&ei=KjuWUIDAKI62hAeQs4CwCw&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=338&vpy=189&dur=946&hovh=183&hovw=276&tx=150&ty=79&sig=115271944990396642324&page=3&tbnh=149&tbnw=217&start=39&ndsp=23&ved=1t:429,r:20,s:20,i:195 1000LB retards weren't used in Afghan
  12. The buckets deploy when all 3 wheels are in contact with the ground, the resulting deployment also pushes the nose down slightly, the spoilers pop out to dump lift on the wing and act as an areodynamic breake. The only time the buckets would be out other wise is during maintenance.
