  1. Looking forward to seeing your build thru.I still don't know why no one has given us a new tool in 1/350
  2. Hello and welcome aboard.
  3. I live near Asheville NC "Beer City" I've been enjoying all of the different local brews. We also have a lot of Hard Cider places to try.
  4. It's like any procedure some are going to find one way or the other easier,it's just preference. Me,I always paint and weather tracks off the tank,I just can't fathom reaching all the tracks and not messing up the roadwheels.I know some spray the tracks on the tank, but thats beyond me too. I think if you don't have an AB you would have to paint them off the tank and touch up later, how would you reach the inside parts.
  5. That's great kit,Tamiya F-16 quality,I did a Belgian Viper with the D-Day markings.Enjoy your build
  6. I've always liked their Magic Tracks,DS some have crumbled, others have lasted over a decade,I will use them on live-track tanks, but not german or soviet types. I do like 3-D printed clickable indies, especially from this place, reasonable prices and quick shipping. https://quickwheelstore.com/
  7. I certainly can't dispute everyone's problems, but I've sprayed their Olive Drab,Dunkelgelb, and Tire Black, using thinner and poly additive. Its worked fine.I seal it with Alclad Aqua Gloss, put down decals, then Alclad Matte, and weathered. I had no problem with one tone schemes, but I just couldn't get the right mix for free hand camo.
  8. Not sure if it's right or wrong, but to me it detracts from an excellent build, painting, and weathering job.
  9. I'm retired over 6 years now and my model output is the same as my pre retirement output, you just find do many other things to do and enjoy, and of course care giving is a lot of work for you itself
  10. They were a lot of fun, they got me seriously started in armor back in 2005,it was good they got rid of the metal hulls.
  11. I picked up some Vallejo spray can RAL 7028 but didn't like their version of it so I'm going with Tamiya, just more of it.Im going with paint scheme #1 so all I need is Dunkelgelb, for the White wash I'm using spray cans.
  12. I remember when my dad paid 20 cent a gallon for gas, I remember pizza 25 cent a slice, coffee and donut 25 cents,my first brand new car,was $6000 Everything has gone up,as was mentioned the quality of the newer kits are outstanding.
