Right then...
Day 23 roundup
It's a been a busy weekend on the good ship SSD with a whole bunch of new projects and a few more splendid additions to the gallery.
Newly launched are not one but two Russian helicopters from @zebra, plus a third from @exdraken. @PinkThorn242 brings us right up to date with his F-35 (quite the timespan we have in this GB, from a Viking ship all the way to the most up-to-date airpower). @Evil_Toast_RSA is pitching in with a Hellcat from Eduard, and there's yet another chopper in Lifeline's Sea Cobra. Finally @Marklo adds his fourth build, a Swift Boat, with a hovercraft on the horizon thanks to @paul-muc!
Turning blue we have finished builds from @theplasticsurgeon with build number two, a great looking Spitfire floatplane, @psdavidson with our first sub, HMS Trafalgar and @flashlight with a very unusual Beriev.
So, the numbers for today:
154 builds
107 underway
13 finished
Thanks for the continued support.

Another ship-to-shore from HMS Salty Sea Dog... the GB has been going for three weeks now and there is a fantastically diverse array of subjects being built, including some superb floating things (which is an education for me, as I build flying things). The leviathan of a build list can be seen here if you're interested:
There's plenty room on board, and if you'd like to join us with one of your builds we'd be delighted to have you.
Cheers
Tony

They're both looking fantastic. It was a beast of a plane alright.

A bit late to this party
Not at all. We'll start talking about "a bit late" on 1st May. Great to have this in the lineup.

They're like double decker busses, them Kamovs... you wait for ages and then two come along at once...
Splendid choice, welcome aboard!

In an attempt to bring some balance to my two passions of the great outdoors and tinkering with little plastic aeroplanes, I've spent the weekend in the Peak District hiking and wild camping. I turn my heard for a couple of days and...
Quite the flurry of activity today shipmates. I'd better get onto the Build List!

It seems like we might see a few dioramas in this GB. Very fun indeed!
...although I find myself wondering if its natural home will be the "Outside My Comfort Zone" GB!

I suppose with a degree of skill and plenty of time, subs can be turned into something fairly spectacular. Unfortunately, I am somewhat lacking in both.
I think you're being modest there. Superb result.

That is very, very impressive. I continue to marvel at the sheer diversity of subjects in this GB.

The close-up photos show such unbelievable wear...
This one looked like it took a beating all right. Hoping to get some oil wash weathering on in the next few days.

617, 207 or any other RAF squadron would be eligible if operating from a carrier. There's precedent - @2996 Victor's RAF Spitfire flown off a carrier to Malta. Certainly the maritime environment! Welcome aboard!

Is your inbox full to 100% Tony? May need to delete some old messages to make room for more.
Ah I didn’t know it could get full. Try now @Marklo? -

@TonyOD for some reason you can’t receive messages.
That’s odd. I haven’t changed any settings or anything. Any clues @Enzo the Magnificent? -

I’d certainly go for the he hovercraft I did attempt to build one in my youth but failed as it was well beyond my skill level at the time. I’m in Ireland so the postage might be on the high side.
I would literally pay the postage myself to see this one on the Build List
