  4. Hi all. Suddenly I realized that a disaster could happen and the Kubelwagen would be finished. This alarmed me very much, and I took all measures to prevent this from happening. Urgently, I began to do various little things, just to not finish the model. Evidence that I'm trying to prevent this disaster: I made door handles from 0.5 mm copper wire. Also made loops for the awning. For this, I used a 0.2 mm copper wire. Supports for Windshield are made from a beer can tin. I made a toolbox from scratch, cut off plastic straps from the awning, corrected the folds, and made new straps from a thin aluminum sheet. From a black fishing line 0.3 mm, I made brake lines. I made the wheels turned Steering gear and rods from scratch. For the rods, I use 0,5 mm copper wire. Vytautas
  5. Really nice work there mate, especially weathering Vytautas
  6. Hi, Macki You didn't say what scale it is, but I suspect it's 1/72. For the thirty-fifth looks good, but for the seventy-second, just excellent! Vytautas
  7. That looks good, I'm going to enjoy watching this Vytautas
  8. Thanks, guys for the good words. Today I prepared engine parts for painting, perhaps next week I will start painting. Vytautas
  9. I hope these are good memories, after all, Ferdinand Porsche was a great designer! A few days ago, I saw a very beautifully restored beetle, it really raised my spirits. Vytautas
  10. Completely agree with the others. Brilliant model, well painted and weathered. Top job! Vytautas
  11. Modeling is a very useful activity - it shows us the world from the most unusual, but true angles. For example, I used to think that the most difficult material to work with is diamond or something like that. How wrong I was! Considering the time spent on processing, I concluded that what is most difficult to process is not diamonds, not hardened steel or similar crap, but simple plastic! And I also learned that this activity develops laziness very well. For a detailed study of this phenomenon, I used a Kubelwagen engine, and if you look at the dates in this section, you will see that I am absolutely right. So, more details of this process. I reworked the distributor (made it smaller), added levers to the carburetor, and tubes for the mix and ignition wires. The tube for ignition cables is made from the syringe needle, for the mix - is from stretched sprue. Vytautas
  12. You are absolutely right! That is very universal equipment! Vytautas
  13. Looks great! Vytautas P. S. One detail - German anti-aircraft shells were painted yellow. Here are more details about the colors of German shells: https://blogkaboom.blogspot.com/2021/03/colour-markings-of-luftwaffe-aircraft.html
  14. Looks great! How did you use the pencils? With water or dry? Vytautas
  15. Most often, the models photographed at close range look like children's toys and do not feel the scale in them. In your case, it's the other way around - what you're doing looks like a real tank on a 1:1 scale. Awesome result! 👍 Vytautas
  16. Looks really good! I noticed one small detail: the flag of Lithuania is displayed in the tactical sign - yellow, green, and red. This definitely adds beauty to the model! Vytautas
