  1. Thanks again gents! The turnbuckles are made from heated and stretched cotton swab rod and cut to approx.2-3mm lengh.
  2. Many thanks everyone for comments! Paul AH: well, it does not depend on me , but I suggest so Mike G: I had to drill them, those in the kit are poor indeed Cheers Libor
  3. Hi all, my interpretation of the Vildebeest how it may have looked on the Endau raid. Cheers Libor
  4. I'm not sure at all , it was mid blue similar to US Intermediate Blue, but looking at it again, I think I'll respray it in much lighter tone again.
  5. You are right, perhaps I will reshot it at better light, it looks too dark on the picture.
  6. Shadow shading - Dark Sea Green and Light Mediterranean Blue...
  7. The Dark Mediterranean Blue and Extra Dark Sea Green is on, to be followed with the shadow shading on the lower wing.
  8. Thanks guys, actually that was state of affairs before the final cleaning, at the rear fuselage you can still see a smear of filler. Anyway, commencing the painting session... It should be the K6402 (OE-J) as per the instructions, anyway, I suggest the A type roundel was not carried on upper wing at the end 1941/early 1942? Cheers Libor
  9. Being very close now to the final assembly and the painting session that should take place over the weekend I should make a decision how to paint she Most probably I'll go for the kit's scheme, anyway looking at the "torpedo dropping machine" , especially at the very pale, almost silver-like color I can't get rid of feeling the plane was actually painted in a dark color (DG?) over the base aluminium or doped fabric (albeit I know there was no such rule for it). Anyway, I'm quite sure the truth will come out after completing my model
  10. Thanks for clarification Andy, did not know I got the updated version!
  11. The Alex Crawford's MMP book features three photos of Greek Gladiators, two of them shows donated overal Aluminium machines with donation inscriptions on the fuselage and the third one is an ex-RAF machine, however only the nose with group of people is visible.
  12. Hi, thanks! It's nice and detailed kit, but little challenging from the building point of view. The glazing is quite OK, maybe the oil wash accentuated the gaps too much, so my mistake, if any, not the kit! Paul, good to hear the Vildebeest will be revieved here! I'm already building it, so far so good, but the rigging slightlly scares me Cheers Libor
  13. Hello, this is the new Azur kit built for a future edition of MAI. Cheers Libor
  14. Sure I can The conversion is simple - just scribing the camera hatch on starboard fuselage bottom (the hatch was operated by pilot through a pulley). Perhaps more works comprises the conversion to F4F-3, but the resin wing from Quickboost fits perfectly. Thanks for comments! Cheers Libor
  15. Hello, this is conversion of the Hase Martlet Mk.II to photo-reconnaisance version using Quickboost F4F-3 wing and excellent Rising Decals. Cheers Libor
  16. Hi, I'm just building one out of the box for a review. So far so good, the overall fit is acceptable, little filler here and there, I would say pretty much OK for a short-run kit. I like the cokcpit which is fully equipped including the bomb bay and excellent resin engines. The transparencies are injection molded and also fit nicely to the fuselage. Cheers Libor
  17. Just got the kit today on a show in Hungary and shot picture in hotel room - sorry for bad quality. At first glance the kit looks very promising, here are the marking options: - K4176, Singapore 1936, overall Aluminium - NZ109, RNZAF, dtto - NK-K, 100.sq, Dark Mediterenian Blue and Extra Sea Green on upper wing with shadow shading on lower wing, SkyBlue undersides - OE-J, 36,sq, dtto
  18. I use Gunze Mr.Color 182 Flat Clear thinned in 1:5 ratio to original Mr.Colour Thinner and sprayed in several thin layers. It usually dries in few minutes. On request I shot collection of my Venom/Vampires so far Cheers Libor
  19. Ok Duncan, I'll do my best, 151.squadron is my favourite
  20. Thanks everyone for comments! I'm glad you like the kit. The undersides are painted Gunze H74 Sky, out of the bottle. Not sure about the Venom NF3 (I suggest 3Q/2011), but the Vampire NF10 is done and should be on its way to the retailers. I'll be picking up mine next week. Cheers Libor
  21. Hello, this is the new CMR kit built for a future edition of MAI. Cheers Libor
  22. The 1/72 version is due, very roughly, this summer. The moulds are now being galvanized and this is long-term operation (approx. 3 months).
